I would start by saying i had a 7:30 pm reservation it took about 30 mins to get sat. “ wasn’t really busy” Once sat it took the server about 15 mins after drink and appetizers ordered to bring them back. Chef didn’t come out until 9pm and wasn’t very nice. We didn’t get a show and there were kids at the table. As the order was repeated it had to be mentioned by the other party about the allergy. When my order was repeated i stated that i didn’t want no veggies in my rice in which it was already told to the server. They proceeded to tell me that they didn’t want to be playing “ Tetris so could i get my rice with veggies due to the allergy by the other party. I stated no and they said i promise you won’t taste it I’ll put less on your portion. I said no thank you i would like my food how i ordered it! As they proceeded to make the food they became very aggravated and cooked the food really fast and didn’t use seasoning. The chicken was in very big chunks and the shrimps were cut i also had collosso. I asked for my chicken to be cut smaller and was told “ making thing’s difficult” I’m not sure what level of unprofessional that is but i would rate it very low. I love this place but i think it’s time to find another location until things are more professional. This is my second issue back to back within the same month. I hate this is happening and i hope things can change.

I've been to plenty of benihanas. N. This one has been the worst. They did not have what I wanted to eat. The cook makes the meat with the same butter. As he cooked the shrimp overall, my experience at the benihanas and downey was not a good one, and I will not return

Had a great time and the food was really good. Our chef was entertaining and very nice. Really enjoyed our time. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.

The chief was Outstanding. Food we cooked perfectly. Don't know the name, However I will defiantly recommend him again. Keep up the good Customer Service and cooking. Oscar is an OUTSTANDING Supervisor at the Downey Landing Location.

The food was great The chef was nice The service sucked they didn't even sing happy birthday at our table at all. That was the whole point we went there is for the birthday coupon and for them to sing Happy Birthday and the girl just gave us our ice cream and that was it. I had to ask the host where the girl was because we never got any drinks after the first round I was so thirsty. I got a Shirley Temple never got a refill.

Food was amazing, our chef was the life of the party he made the experience one to remember. The service in general was outstanding. Would definitely recommend to anyone.
