Came here a week prior and was in and out in 45mins on a Tuesday night. This time, on a Monday night, the server was really slow showing up to take orders, and was really slow bringing out drinks; then, the soups and salads arrived 20min later when the chef was ready to start cooking; the chef was slow, cooking everything one at a time (finished veggies and onions before even putting meat on the grill); the mushrooms were undercooked; then, the server was really slow taking dessert orders and delivering them. This meal took 2 hours and everyone at the table was getting impatient.

My wife and I were visiting Dallas for my birthday weekend. We wanted hibachi and happened to find Benihana. I quickly made a reservation for 6:00pm. We arrived promptly at 5:53pm. We had to wait maybe 10 minutes until we were able to be sat at a Communal seating. The server took our drink orders, but was slow to come back with the soup and salad. The chef finally came and he was rather slow in cooking all the foods. I’ve never had my chicken cooked last after everyone’s steak?!? Not to mention by the time I got my chicken, my rice was cold (if you’re like me, you want to eat everything at one time). I didn’t like there wasn’t a mixture of vegetables, only zucchini and onions. Afterwards, when we our receipt, we noticed we were charged for chicken fried rice. We thought it was just normal fried rice like any other hibachi we’ve visited. No biggie we ate the rice, however just be mindful you will be charged for chicken fried rice, not sure if you can request it without chicken? Overall, the food was good and we had leftovers. Oh and the strawberry lemonade was sooo good! We were there for about an hour and a half which is a little longer than when we typically go to hibachi. Yes we would go back and would recommend!

Went for a birthday dinner but they did not do any birthday celebration songs there. Other than that everything we expected from Benihana.

We did not have to wait long to be seated. But we had a big party and they put us at a 3 grill table with another large group, so it was hard to hear each other. Our chef was AMAZING! Our server was a little slow. But we were pleased with our experience.

First of all we were all freezing. Fan was so noisy, conversation was difficult. Both server and chef were great but quality of ahi and salmon mediocre. Will not be back
