What you get at Bengal Spice is simple: exceptional food, really great prices and service that is second to none. All of the food is cooked from fresh, so arrival time of the food will increase accordingly but definitely worth the wait! When the food arrives, you are never disappointed. One of the reasons why the restaurant is still here today is because the customers love the food. This is simply because everything they use is of high quality and freshly made. So you can actually taste the difference in aroma and texture, it will definitely put a spark in your taste buds; just exactly how it should be made.     This place is an absolute gem! Fantastic food and brilliant atmosphere. The guys who work there really want you to enjoy your meal, they help when it comes to choosing the right dish and are very nice. My friend and I went randomly one night and it turned out to be brilliant. Bonus: BYOB! What more could you want! Thanks, will definitely be returning ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

    Spices Bengal is a local gem - a wonderful old school, no frills curry house. Originally on Chapel Market in Islington the rent rises eventually pushed them out of town after around 16 years in the same spot. Now located on Holloway Road, the restaurant will no longer benefit from its bustling location in Angel, but for those hunting out a decent eat, its definitely worth the short bus ride to Holloway. The food is excellent and represents really good value. Its BYO too so its kind on the pocket. And with any BYO, they can't rely on the drinks mark up to stay afloat so the food has to be second to none. My only grievance is that the lighting can be a bit bright -- but that's hardly a biggie when starters, delicious mains and sides plus a lovely bottle of plonk (from the offie - and you can splurge a bit when the food is so cheap) delivers a tasty Friday night dinner with friends for around £20 a head. This place doesn't have the decor, the fancy drinks - or the benefit of being located in a high footfall area anymore - but it smashes it out of the park with its excellent food. Totally recommend.

    My friends and I fell in love with Ali's restaurant when it was in Angel and followed him to Holloway Road! Bengal Spice is every bit as good as it's predecessor in Angel but now with modern, elegant decor. The food is delicious and great value for money. The brilliant thing about Ali and this restaurant is that you'll enjoy it if you're a seasoned curry eater or if you've never had Indian food before in your life. Ali gives his customers extraordinary attention and makes recommendations based on a careful process that always creates something delicious. Whether it's a date, a group of friends or a pre/post show dinner I'd definitely recommend this place.
