   What a fabulous place to eat! My friends had never been there before and they were very happily surprised! The food is delicious and the service is perfect. The lunch special is really lovely with lots of great choices. Five star🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

   This was our first time having Indian food the host/owner I believe was very, very helpful and accommodating the meals he suggested were very good. A great value for the quality and amount of food. It was Valentine’s Day so it was nice how they treated all the women with a rose Living in town. I will be back and recommend us to my friends and family.

   We had a delicious meal at Benares. I loved the Chicken Tikka Masala. The samosas are always good. My family enjoyed spicier dishes of goat and lamb. We celebrated my birthday with a chocolate lava cake and rose water ice cream. Our servers were excellent.

   Best Indian food in the area! Excellent service.. super friendly and knowledgeable. Food is delicious.. you can’t go wrong with this menu. BYOB .

   We had a delicious meal at Benares with some of our favorites (samosas, Chicken Tikka Masala, Lamb Biryani) and also tried some new things including a goat dish. We had a wonderful surprise when our server brought out rose-flavored ice cream and a warm chocolate brownie for dessert to celebrate our anniversary. It was out of this world!

   Excellent dinner out at Benares, all the food was fresh and tasty, great service, and ambiance. Will definitely be back soon and happy to find another Indian food option so close to home.

   the food here is the best Indian food in Bergen County. The Andra Chicken, Khosta Gobie , rosemary Naan and tomato chutney are all amazing.

    The food was authentic and delicious. Spicy means spicy, just so you know. Even mild spice has some heat, though, true to its name, not too much. The menu is packed with choices for every pallet. Three of us had a chicken dish, a lamb dish, and a goat dish, all of which were tender and delicious. It's a BYOB, so don't forget a bottle if you want to imbibe with your meal. Thumbs up, and we WILL be returning.
