Legendary Dining & Hospitality
Acting as stewards of traditional hospitality, the dining room offers world-class cuisine in a warm and welcoming environment. Serving an array of local beer, spirits and craft cocktails and all brought to you by our friendly staff, the Belton Tap Room is a favorite of locals and guests from around the world.

With an outdoor elevated deck and original 100-year-old fireplace, this is the perfect place for all that Montana summers have to offer. Every evening, our staff lines the balconies to welcome the evening train, just like they did in 1910. Steeped in the romanticism of a bygone era, this is the perfect setting for a special evening - whether you're celebrating an anniversary or the completion of a ten-mile hike.

    This was our best meal in West Glacier and it wasn’t even close. The restaurant has a great atmosphere. A kind of classy historic place. I loved the vibe and the food was excellent…cocktails were fantastic as well! Next trip to the area we will be eating here for all our dinners.

    Food was excellent. Our waitresses explained the menu so well and helped us with our selection. A surprisingly great meal.

    The Belton Chalet dining room had several semi-gourmet and unique offerings with large portions and an casually elegant atmosphere. Wait staff were professional and the service was prompt. It was quite pricey, especially the wine, not unexpected for a resort area. Unfortunately neither my husband nor I cared for our meals due to the flavor combinations. That very well could be a matter of personal preference.

    Our visit was for a special occasion and it was everything we expected... Perfect! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff was exceptional. I will bring visitors there in the future as well as recommend this place to all! Thanks so much!

    Great dinner. Staff was great and so was the food! Great place to eat if you are in or near Glacier National Park.

    The food was incredible. Highly recommend the peppers appetizer and any pasta with elk sausage. Dessert was unique and playful. So glad to join the many who have dined at this historic and gourmet establishment.

    This is a fantastic restaurant, in all ways. The food, the staff, it’s all top notch. I was blown away by how great the food was and loved the service too.

    Overall, my experience was underwhelming. The food was okay, but nothing to write home about and the vibe didn’t really exist. I was really looking forward to dinner here and I left disappointed.

    The food was absolutely wonderful. We had trout and pork shank. Everything was really tasty. Julia, our server, was great. I would have given it 5 stars except parking was horrible. We tried calling several times to see if there was an additional parking lot somewhere. It kept going to voicemail. While eating we witnessed the phone ring and workers standing by the phone would walk away instead of answering it.
