Belmonte’s Ristorante crafts fine Italian cuisine in its elegant and charming eatery, located in the seaside resort town of Asbury Park. For starters, the portabella mushrooms stuffed with eggplant, spinach and mozzarella and the battered artichoke hearts Francese make excellent choices. If pasta is what you are craving, Belmonte’s Ristorante has many delightful choices, such as the potato gnocchi in a meaty Bolognese sauce, the shrimp pappardelle Roma with mushrooms and asparagus and the fettuccini Frankie with crumbled sausage, escarole and beans. Some of Belmonte’s Ristorante other specialty entrées include the chicken Philadelphia sautéed with shallots, mushrooms and green peppercorns, the filet mignon in sherry wine sauce and the prosciutto and mozzarella stuffed pork chops in a madeira sauce. Be sure to enjoy your sumptuous Italian meal and the beautiful ambience with a glass or two of a fine wine.

The at Bellmonte is always delicious. We dine here weekly, sometimes twice a week. I recommend going on Monday or Thursday for 25% off pasta dishes. You won't be disappointed.

Good food and generous portions; service needs a big upgrade- no one greets you at front desk- you have to wait for one of the harried servers. Table not cleaned off after entrees, plates not cleared off promptly and no plates offered for a shared salad and appetizer. Very young staff that needs training to become more professional…

Terrible ambiance and for valentines day??? They used canned artichokes for their appetizer special. The wait staff seemed like busboys filling in for waiters and dressed like they were working in the kitchen. Not good overall. Nothing stood out as good. Would not go back.

Our server, Alexis, was very kind and attentive. Thanks for making our Valentine date so special, Alexis! The food was delicious as well.

service super slow, byob, so i got my wine glasses 10 min after sitting. Bread came but no dishes or setups. Food was ok, not great. Pizzaria Feel to place vs price. cold inside.

Food was good. Our waiter Eric was excellent and he made sure we had the table I requested! The same on from our first date many moons ago :) Thank you Eric!!

Quaint spot in Asbury. Pasta dishes were delicious. Our server was awesome . Will definitely be back!

Great dinner , staff was very friendly…. We were a party of ten and they really did a great job making us feel welcome…. Food was great , big shout out for the bread , crusty and warm , great start …. Bravo
