Bell's Mansion is located atop the perfect hill in Stanhope, NJ - right across from the Morris Canal. Fantastic experience. Started with homemade pierogi appetizer. Next came a perfect Beef Wellington. Hearty and flavorful. Followed by a sensational Crème Brûlée for desert shared with my wife. Great date night. Don’t let me forget to mention a great wine list. We will return. The service could not have been better. Made us feel like regulars and friends.

My friend from out of town and I had drinks and dinner at Bells Mansion recently. It was a first visit. It is a historic home site which tends to be very dark and not particularly welcoming. The highlights were the drinks were outstanding. The service was excellent. The overall meal was very good including the wonderful hot fresh bread, salads and vegetables. However our entree was very disappointing. The honey glazed lamb chops tasted very gamey or cooked from frozen??? Would not order again. Not sure we would return…

The Mansion is absolutely amazing!!! It is so quaint. The food was delicious and presented itself beautifully. The wait staff was so attentive. We didn’t take part but at the end of the meal we were offered a dessert after dinner drink for Valentine’s Day, which is so very classy. We will definitely be back.

The food at Bells Mansion never disappoints. I had the sesame crusted tuna and it was cooked perfectly. The dessert was great also.
