At Bellona, our menu is created using only the finest ingredients with a vegan and vegetarian spin on classic Italian dishes. Johnnie Fusco and his wife, Aggie, invite you to their family.

The Fusco family name begins in a small town, Bellona, just outside of Naples, Italy and continues to grow its family tree through generational recipes. We want to capture family nights at Nonna’s and are inviting everyone to our family!

Nestled in the heart of Little Italy, we invite you to our newest location. Bellona is the name of the town the Fusco family’s legacy began, and it is here — as close to Italy as we can get — it continues. We invite you to get cozy, grab a drink and have a bite!

We seldom eat at Italian restaurants because my partner is vegan. When I saw vegan options, we decided we'd give it a try and O. M. G. All four of us, three non vegans included, were in awe of the non stop deliciousness. Vegan and dairy cheeses are available and the cheese in many dishes can be substituted accordingly. We loved Bellona so much and will definitely be back for more.

Bellona never disappoints. Delicious food made by wonderful people that clearly love what they do. Can’t wait to go again. Highly recommend!

We were a group of 7 & only one of us is vegan so we wanted to go to a restaurant that had multiple vegan options so we could make our friend comfortable. We were all a bit nervous but decided to give it a try…. turns out the food was fantastic! & the service was excellent. My group & I enjoyed our dinner at Bellona & I’d definitely go again! I think next time I’d want to try the dessert since we didn’t get a chance to. Thank you again!

We went for the Bellonalicious offer they had, quite a good deal. The staff, ambience, and food were all great.

One of the top spots in the city today. I took my 12 & 14yo nieces who preferred it to Stock, their now formerly favorite Italian resto.

This was my 2nd time visiting Bellona - first time at the College location. We started off with the Caesar salad and calamari. Both were excellent - not everyday you find vegan calamari on a menu even at vegan restaurants. The flavour, texture and lemon dill aioli were excellent. For mains we ordered the lemon pesto rigatoni and lasagna. The lemon rigatoni was very good. The lasagna was good but the sauce was definitely on the sweet side and while I am a saucy guy when it comes to food, the sauce to cheese ratio was off. Too much sauce - which I don’t say often - vs cheese. I know some recipes have carrots in the sauce, but since the sauce was already sweet the carrots didn’t help. Seemed like there were more carrots vs mushrooms and would’ve loved some spinach to add different veggies and to make it less sweet. Lastly for dessert we had the apple fritters and tiramisu. The fritters were very good - classic apple cinnamon flavour. The vanilla ice cream that came with the fritters seemed stale or over-churned. Texture was more hard vs smooth and it didn’t have that rich vanilla flavour. The tiramisu was unfortunately very disappointing and the main reason for giving 4 stars. After the first bite, we looked at each other and knew something was off. The top layer with the whip cream was good but as we got to the bottom layer with the vanilla cake, the first bite - for lack of a better word - had a fishy taste. Honestly shouldn’t have swallowed that. Tried a 2nd bite and it wasn’t as bad but still there and at that point we couldn’t eat anymore. The waitress asked if we were going to finish it and we shared our feedback and she kindly apologized and removed the item from the bill. My guess is something in the Tiramisu was spoiled or maybe one of the ingredients gave it a very off-putting flavour. Overall, most of the food was delicious but appetizers were the highlight for me. A lot of great menu options - but some of the dishes we had could use some adjustments.

Service and food were great. The restaurant feels very family friendly, not stuffy or corporate. We really liked this new location. The food is always amazing. We love having several vegan options.
