   We arrived on time for our reservation, it was 45 minutes before our order was taken. Staff were very nice, and friendly, the service was just very underwhelming. The food was okay, not horrible but nowhere near the best either, almost as if the kitchen was rushing. The gnocchi was mushy and overcooked, the Lobscargot was the only highlight of our meal, the rest of our plates were just not fitting of the price charged. Honestly we were hungry and had already been waiting almost an hour, most other places were closed around the area otherwise we would have left. 3 stars was a generous review.

   I had the lobster and shrimp pasta, my wife had the tortolenni special. Both excellent. We ordered the bruschetta app and also the olive app. Service was great. Our only complaint was the olive app. 12 olives for approximately $12 was about as disappointing an app we've ever ordered. Just the olives, nothing else. We ordered the brushetta after it came because it was so disappointing. Funny how a restaurant can be be so chincy on something so easy to present. We ordered the carrot cake for dessert for about the same price. Very large portion and someone had to actually bake it as opposed to 12 olives spooned onto a plate.

   The venue, service and food was VERY good. We had the filet mignon with asparagus both prepared beautifully. The bar staff made us perfect espresso martinis and the selected a great wine to pair with the steaks.

    We had a very lovely time. We were sat right away and served water. The waitress was knowledgeable and helpful. She did her job effortlessly. I got the Filet, and it was cooked to perfection! Wife got the shrimp alfredo, and she took it home when she couldn't eat it all. All in all, a great value for a intimate outing for the wife and I. I highly recommend it.
