Owned by seasoned restauranteur Nick Mathers and Wish You Were Here Group, Belles Beach House aims to transport guests from Los Angeles to a tropical destination whilst staying in the heart of Venice Beach. An ode to the retro Tiki Bar and legendary artist Larry Bell, Belles Beach House exudes the laid back, island vibes of the 1970s serving Hawaiian-inspired dishes with a touch of Japanese influence, vibrant craft cocktails and a thoughtful wine list.

Been here a few times and the staff has always been amazing. Food and drinks come out right away. The food is good but not great. I prefer coming here for the ambiance and location. The weekend gets very busy and loud but week days are super chill and a great vibe.

Cameron is our favorite part of brunch at Belle’s, beside the banana bread! He always remembers our order and spends extra time chatting. Great guy! The food is very good and always consistent. You could use some paper towels in the restroom. The hand dryer is as loud as a rocket 🚀

We had dinner start at 9pm, definitely go closer to 8pm to get a nice dinner feel, when we went it pretty much was bar service. We are from out of town and didn’t realize the kitchen closed at 9:30pm. Garlic noodles are a must everything else was okay.

Felt like I was on an island The food? Absolutely amazing ! The atmosphere? Awesome they even had a DJ playing some grooves. Definitely will go again.

Overall a really fun time! Great drinks, really delicious sushi (Blue Crab Roll was the highlight) and other great fish dishes. Not crazy about the ribs or chicken, but enjoyed everything else!

We waited almost 10min for a server to come by the table and eventually had to flag a waiter down from a different table to take out drink order. When our waitress finally came over to introduce herself we noticed she’d been hanging out chatting with the dj the entire we’d been there instead of coming over after we’d been seated. Disappointing start to the evening, esp when there is a table time limit.

The food was excellent, definitely get tuna spicy rice it was amazing!! We weren’t expecting much and I don’t normally write reviews but this place is so worth it. Chicken nuggets were huge and delicious too. Miso aubergine is a must.

Good food, great vibes and location, they have music playing at a nice level that you can hear the music but it’s doesn’t keep your from being able to talk with others. I would definitely visit again.
