Welcome to Belle & Maxwell’s. For over the past 25 years, we have taken great pride in preparing our signature dishes and the daily specials we offer to our customers. We are a West Palm Beach, Florida-based restaurant nestled in heart of Antique Row. We proudly support local farmers and businesses in our town. I used to love this place and Im not exactly sure why it has changed but it certainly seems to have. It was very understaffed. One amiable guy operating as host, waiter, bartender, pretty much everything. One woman cleaning up the tables who didn’t make eye contact with any customers lest she be required to wait on them which I guess isn’t her job. I ordered what I usually order (though I haven’t been there in more than six months) the half and half…half sandwich and soup or salad and soup. In the past I’ve gotten a nice cup of soup and a reasonable size salad or 1/2 sandwich. This time I got a little taster size cup of soup (im guessing 1/4 cup ) and 1/3 cup of salad. My bill for this -with a Diet Coke and tip-came to $27 and I left STARVING. Im not a big woman-it doesn’t take a lot to fill me up. I don’t usually leave bad reviews because I don’t like to see anyone’s business not do well but I always liked this little restaurant and would like to see it back to its old self.

Sadly, it did not meet expectations. The food was good, but at least two-fourths of the menu was not available because they didn't have "that item."

Beautiful decor with unusual stained glass panels and chandeliers. Service outstanding. First time for dinner - previously visited many times for lunch. Not impressed with quality of food this time. Ceaser salad offers no anchovies. Dressing bland. Chicken piccata also bland but tasty. Wings were dry. Desert options great and chocolate flour less cake delicious.

Came for the buy 1 get 1 free dinner. It was by invitation only. It was decent. I would have thought the portion would have been larger. We both had the chicken piccata. I had the mixed veggies on the side, rather than over linguine. It was definitely a good meal. We got there right before Happy Hour so we got a Happy Hour Price for the wine which was nice. The server was EXCELLENT! We will definitely go back for sure.
