BellaBrava New World Trattoria was born in 2005 in Downtown Saint Petersburg. Over the years since, BellaBrava has been voted Best Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Best Italian, and is a perennial Guest favorite on Beach Drive.

Less formal than a ristorante, our service is casual, our prices remain reasonable and our emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than haute cuisine. Old World flavors mingle with New World flair. From seafood to traditional pasta, pizzas, and more, we are positive everyone will find something delicious to savor.

BellaBrava’s unique Woodstone™ ovens cook delicious pizzas and a guest favorite, the Crostata.

Our ingredients are fresh, often locally sourced, and evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other delicious cuisines from Italy. With friendly, competent staff, BellaBrava aims to be your casual dining spot.

Food was excellent, so was the service. Main dining room was a little cold for my girlfriend but she had a cover-up with her so that wasn't an issue for long.

As always so delicious. Today we had the black truffle pasta with shrimp. Of course the white tiramisu. Delicious, light, flavorful…. Just incredible. Thank you!

Probably one of the worst meals I have ever had. One dish had to be sent back as the eggplant was hard & not cooked. Travesty to call their Chicken Parm, Chicken Parm. It was a mix of white cheese sauce, little parm, & worst of all the chicken was deep fried. Never had such a disgusting meal. For $26 this place should be ashamed for serving such a meal. I hardly ate it, but didn’t send it back because we already sent back the eggplant dish. Suggest this place get a new chef.

Ha lunch July 9, '24, with 3 others. A total disappointment. Lasagna was not warm, not properly sauced, i.e., way too dry. Service was courteous , but inept. When we asked for warm sauce we were told it would take another 10-15 minutes. The mixed salad we ordered was not delivered, but a Caesar salad was delivered , though not ordered. The lasagna itself was dull, tasteless and mushy. Act, just bad. Maybe they just had a Biden day.

We sat outside for dinner under a large umbrella - lucky since it rained for a few minutes. The Misticana side salad and focaccia bread with olive oil were nice starts to the meal. My husband and I had the Pasta Caponata as our entree complicated with a craft beer (he) and a glass of Grechetto Italian wine (I). Alexis provided top notch service throughout. Highly recommended for a casual evening out with great food and service.
