BellaBrava New World Trattoria was born in 2005 in Downtown Saint Petersburg. Over the years since, BellaBrava has been voted Best Restaurant in Saint Petersburg, Best Italian, and is a perennial Guest favorite on Beach Drive.

Less formal than a ristorante, our service is casual, our prices remain reasonable and our emphasis is on a steady clientele rather than haute cuisine. Old World flavors mingle with New World flair. From seafood to traditional pasta, pizzas, and more, we are positive everyone will find something delicious to savor.

BellaBrava’s unique Woodstone™ ovens cook delicious pizzas and a guest favorite, the Crostata.

Our ingredients are fresh, often locally sourced, and evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other delicious cuisines from Italy. With friendly, competent staff, BellaBrava aims to be your casual dining spot.

We always enjoy our time at Bella brava. Finally tried the tiramisu. Although it was not traditional, it was amazing. Their pasta is and the vodka sauce is unbeatable.

We will definitely be back! From the moment we stepped through the front doors to the moment we left, the service was top-notch, and the ambiance was clean and modern, yet still very cozy. The food was excellent, and we're still talking about it hours later.. The calamari fritti had the requisite crispy breading with a soft, tender calamari center. The aioli that accompanied the calamari added some brightness while the fried peppers added some heat. My husband had the stuffed gnocchi, and I had the truffle pasta. Both were delectable. His stuffed gnocchi had an excellent blend of tomato and cream that balanced out the pasta. The cream sauce on my truffle pasta was light enough that it did not overpower the subtle truffle flavors but hefty enough to stand on its own. We ended this wonderful meal with the tiramisu, which was creamy but not too sweet. The cookie and biscotti topping were a nice touch. Above all, the prices were very reasonable, even economical given the amount of food. We will be recommending this restaurant to all our friends.
