In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. Our special Woodstone ovens create delectable flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other Italian cuisines.

This place usually is better. The food yesterday was NOT their usually quality. The seafood pasta had only one piece of shrimp in in so it was just the sauce with their pasta even though I paid for the seafood. They forgot my salad until the main course so they had their hiccup’s Unfortunate I challenge the restaurant to improve and return back to the better quality they did have. Still is a beautiful place.

We went here for New Years so expected it to be busy…but our service was bad.. our server took forever to take our order -all while the other table (who came in a while after us)next to us received drinks and apps and food before us..we asked for butter for the bread, which took forever, ordering took forever and we had to ask for our salads because she forgot… husbands food came out wrong and we also had a spill at the table and she did nothing to help us clean it up….the worst part was that she was not friendly at all. This makes a dining experience and with a server with a bad attitude the overall dining experience is crap. Food was overall good..

This is our second time to the restaurant and for the second time the service was not great. It took awhile to get a drink order in and delivered. The food was terrific but I am not pleased with the early start to both experiences. It is unlikely I will return which is sad as I do like the food. It would a be a good idea for management to advise their servers and wait staff to smile, use their name, and greet customers quickly when they are seated. Regardless I always tip very well and again, it’s unlikely I will return.

The menu is unique and the food is very fresh. The bruschetta with goat cheese was delicious and so was the ravioli. The seafood was skimpy in the zuppa de pesce. It was a little pricey for the quality. The service was great. The location is great and it’s a very friendly child restaurant.

This placed opened a little over a year ago and has steadily gone down hill in that short time. Service was horrible. Food was just OK.

Our service was spot on, very friendly and attentive. Food portions were sufficient for the price. This is our go to date night. We will definitely be back.

Great! First experience! Told them in advance. It was our first year anniversary and they gave us a private and quieter area to sit in. They were very attentive. All the food was excellent and the drinks were great. Wasn't a huge fan of the bread but didn't really care about that LOL Chicken cacciatore was amazing. Probably one of the best I've ever had. I don't think the price was that bad for any of the food.

The food was great. The service was extremely slow, yet friendly. We still had fun. We made a reservation. The restaurant was 20% full. But will probably pick another restaurant for more attentive service. We don’t need to be watched over; but, waiting 25 minutes for water and a glass of wine is frustrating. Especially when the restaurant boasts their wine list and is barely full. Again, food was tasty.
