In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. Our special Woodstone ovens create delectable flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other Italian cuisines.

I thought the food was average . I got the Parmesan crusted salmon with the broccolini, and the salmon was very greasy. The salmon was also a bit undercooked in the middle. The interior and everything that goes along I expected a much better meal. The meal for the value was definitely not there.

This was my first time eating here. I had a reservation and was taken to my table promptly. It was Saturday night and they were busy. I have a food allergy and the waiter and the manager were extremely helpful and made sure I got a meal that wouldn’t make me sick. They have a good menu with lots of choices and vegan options as well as gluten friendly.

Hunter was an excellent server. She asked if we needed any changes to our order and was prompt with everything. My only concern was the fact that handicapped parking was almost non existent near the restaurant. The spaces were located in the rear of the restaurant at the delivery area.

Unfortunately, All of our parking is behind the restaurant at the back of the complex and the County decides were to locate handicap spots. The ambiance was peaceful and relaxed. The service was superb. We were seated and greeted almost instantly. Our server Ava was amazing, friendly, and informative. She also went out of her way to offer me a free dessert to go for my birthday. And oh yeah, the food was freaking delicious. This was our first visit, but it won't be the last. I was I spent my birthday here.

Great place! Really enjoyed it and food was excellent. The tables are set up a little too close for my liking. People kept asking us about my husband's dish, but he did get Crostata and that definitely draws attention! Everyone was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend and look forward to going back!
