In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. Our special Woodstone ovens create delectable flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other Italian cuisines.

This is such a great spot for a nice Sunday Brunch. The food has been great each time we have dined here! It's so hard in this area to fine that thin and crispy pizza & BellaBrava seems to have figured it out, we love it. Each meal at the table was passed around and tried by all of us & they were all tasty. We will be back.

Every item we have tried on the menu has been outstanding. The wait staff are very professional; we always ask for Winter as our wait person as she has our likes and standard orders memorized! The atmosphere is good, however, it can get quite noisy when the restaurant is busy. Well with the noise level as the food is wonderful!

Excellent variety of great “homemade” Italian pasta dishes and pizzas. We will come back here often just to try the different dishes! Our server, Hunter, was outstanding serving our group of 8 on an a very busy Saturday night. Kudos to the manager, Dan, and his wonderful restaurant staff for a great evening that exceeded our expectations!

Great food, service and friendly and attentive management team. A little loud at times but that was partly our fault because we had so much fun we were laughing. Great dinnner!

Service was great, but food was less than we expected for the price. Atmosphere was nothing as opposed to what we would expected for an Italian restaurant. Bruschetta was not good with goat cheese and bread was over toasted. We told the server and he apologized but did not take it off the bill. Chicken Parm was very good, and so was the bread that they first brought out after we were seated. Strawberry salad my wife ordered was alright but nothing special. Though I answered No for recommendation I would rather have selected Not sure, it was our first time and we had high expectation. The place reminds me of more of a Ford Garage versus a Carrabba's.

Lasagna came out cold in the middle, bruschetta was on the thinnest crostini and the topping was so heavy and moist it felt like eating a drenched cracker. Citrus and fennel salad was swimming in the vinaigrette. Salmon was okay but nothing outstanding, probably wouldn’t go back

We all ordered different entrees and everyone enjoyed their meal. Portions are generous, menu choices and wine selection are sufficient. There's something for everyone here.
