In 2003, while exploring Tuscany and indulging in the finest Italian culinary delights, we recognized a need for an Italian restaurant in Tampa that fuses traditional flavors with the contemporary essence of urban living.

In 2005, BellaBrava: New World Trattoria was established in downtown Saint Petersburg, where our Tuscan-inspired vision became a reality. Our New World Trattoria offers a relaxed dining experience, affordable prices, and a focus on building lasting connections with our guests rather than pursuing haute cuisine.

Our menu harmoniously blends old-world tastes with new-world sophistication. From seafood and classic pasta dishes to mouthwatering pizzas, we're confident that everyone will discover a delightful treat. Our special Woodstone ovens create delectable flatbreads, pizzas, and calzones, using fresh, locally sourced ingredients that evoke the flavors of Tuscany and other Italian cuisines.

Food is always excellent. My favorite is their hot honey pepperoni pizza, upgrade the taste by asking for their honey basil salad dressing to dip your pizza... delicious! I would pay to have that dressing recipe! Family celebrated my birthday, BB graciously provided us with a dessert... thank you!

Dave, the manager, was incredible. Veronica, our server, was the BEST! The food is fresh and if you have not had the opportunity to dine here yet, then you need to make time. You won't be disappointed in the service, the food, the restaurant, the prices, etc. SUPER!!!

Jess was our server for our party of 5. Ages 10-40. She was so attentive but not overly so, she made great recommendations for food and drinks and is clearly passionate about what she does. She even managed to hook me up with an ingredient no longer on the menu that we talked about. As for food, the pasta dishes were good. Lasagna was good but probably the least favorite dish of the night but only because it is bechamel heavy and we prefer more red sauce. The arancini is always our favorite appetizer. Overall we had a great experience at Bella Brava on a busy Saturday night! So much hospitality and great food!

It was a wonderful experience the restaurant was busy and very efficient the food was great and the drinks were delicious!! We were a party of 4 on a Friday night at 6:45 great location love the vibe of Bexley, we had a small pizza, the eggplant parmigiana with pesto bucatini, seafood fra diavolo and grilled salmon over orange grapefruit and fennel salad… Good stuff!! We’ll be back Thank you

This was our 4th time dining here and it’s declined each time-first time very good, 2nd time food was fair, 3rd time they seat us at a table that you actually look right into the kitchen and servers are passing right by in every direction throughout the entire meal-it was unappealing to look inside kitchen, distracting and noisy-there were many other open tables without having to be stuck right in middle of the service center-this past Friday we went back again with 2 out of town guests and asked man at hostess station (looked like he may have been a manager)to please not seat us near the kitchen, when hostess returns to desk he says to her “she doesn’t want to be near the kitchen” and then he proceeds to walk us to table-as he seats us he says “there, you’re not near the kitchen” in a sarcastic way-my son heard it and couldn’t believe he said such a rude thing to me-as it turns out he sat us right near where every server comes out of kitchen on the opposite side of where they enter kitchen we had been seated the prior visit-throughout the entire meal we had servers walking right by table or standing near it when they were waiting to approach their tables-our table was on a corner stuck out in middle of aisle and once again a terrible dining atmosphere- numerous better tables sat empty and the food in this place is not special enough to go again and put up with the terrible table locations-is it possible a restaurant this new seems stale already menu and otherwise? There is a nice man, think his name is Dave and he might be a general mgr or owner who goes table to table, each time we’ve been but we were embarrassed to say anything in front our guests about how disappointed we were yet again with the comfort and atmosphere at this restaurant-our server this night was very good and nice-it wasn’t her fault we were seated in such a horrible location-we won’t be back again

The food was awesome. I’ve been to the St Pete restaurant and am glad there’s one in my area now. The arancini balls were out of this world…I could have had another order and skipped the main course, but decided to get the gnocchi a la vodka and wow! Delicious!
