Sister restaurant to Citizen Public House and The Gladly, this casual all-day dining hangout is located in buzzy & walkable Old Town Scottsdale. Tucked in from Main Street, Beginner's Luck has a charming patio perfect for leisurely dining, and an indoor dining room with an open kitchen.     Lovely, classy, quiet patio in the middle of Old Scottsdale. All four of us had the burger which was exceptional. Fries were fine (not amazing) and the brussel sprouts were unique and delicious. Will definitely go again.

    First time eating here, though we've been often to The Gladly and Citizen's Public House. I ordered the burger which I found very disappointing. First time out, tepid temp, unmelted cheese. To his credit our waiter took it right back to bring me a new one. This one was certainly hotter, but the taste, texture and thickness of the burger was disappointing, certainly when compared to comparably priced places - I'd note that I really have enjoyed the burgers at Public House. My wife ordered the special and was pleased overall. The restaurant is very, very casual.

    Great food and service. Happy Hour was an incredibly great value. We will go back for sure.

    Food was a little disappointing but not bad by any means. Cute spot, servers were sweet and competent, kitchen and bar were crowded with servers which makes it seem disorganized and takes away from the elegant indoors.

    We were pleasantly surprised with the ambiance sitting on the patio. They didn't rush us and checked us in at a good pace. The service was good, and the detailed description of the food choices and quality was excellent, especially the sweet choices! Overall, a good time was had by our party of four. Booking well in advance recommended.

    Great as expected. Menu is limited, perhaps mostly by my food allergies but still enjoyed what I was able to eat. We got to sit inside with doors open (February) so temp was great. Hoping it's cooler this summer than last.
