Featuring raw oysters and fresh seafood with international influences from executive chef Eddie Barrett, BeetleCat is a trendy restaurant and bar in Atlanta’s Inman Park neighborhood. The menu transports you to the New England coast at the upstairs dining room and oyster bar, while the downstairs Den lends itself to a 70s surf shack. Enjoy fresh air on one of the two patios, both upstairs and downstairs. BeetleCat is open nightly for dinner and offers brunch in the Den on Saturdays and Sundays.

    OpenTable Presents Summer Sets: ATL. This unforgettable dining experience allows diners to celebrate some of the best chefs in Atlanta and the music that inspires them and their menus. Join us at Beetlecat on Tuesday, July 23rd at 6:30pm to enjoy a 4 course menu presented by Chef Eddie Barrett featuring a crab salad with heirloom tomatoes, cappelletti, scallops with caviar beurre blanc, and lavender panna cotta for dessert. An optional wine pairing for $35 will also be available. The food, beverages and music are just a mere glimpse into what Atlanta has to offer! All sales are final with no refunds.

    Food and service was amazing as always. Our server ,Natalia I believe was her name , was Great! Also the GM, Lamont , is the Best! ….. Don’t forget to get a Lobster Roll

    Beetlecat is always great. Only complaint I have and it’s not really a complaint is that the downstairs can be a bit loud. In transparency, we arrived like an hour plus early for our reservation and they kindly worked us in to be seated almost immediately. They sat us downstairs. It was slightly loud but hey. That’s life. The staff at Beetlecat is always top notch. Our server was Lee (so?) and she was great. One of my favorites wasn’t working this day, Jorge, but he is always a pleasure to see in behind the bar/in front of the wood burning oven.

    Overall the food was very good but quite overpriced for what you get. We also were very disappointed that we reserved a table for 6 and were initially brought to a table that clearly only sat 4 (in fact 4 people ended up sitting there when I told the hostess it wouldn't work for us).

    Food was amazing, drinks delicious, waiter sucked unfortunately, long braided hair African American guy was terrible, never checked on us, was difficult to place orders, & had an attitude when asked to split check. Floor manager was great, was super helpful & kind & sweet. Would have been perfect experience if waiter would have been polite & attentive.

    Dined at Beetlecat for my birthday and it was everything I wished for and more! Got there with just minutes left of oyster HH (4-5 pm) and my friend and I split an order of 8 on the half shell (4 dif kinds, $1.50 each HH price [regularly $4/ ea]) I loved the cherry mignonette! For second course we had the mussels which were to die for! The creamy, savory broth was so delicious we got an extra order of bread to soak it up every last drop. Third course we split an order of the chowder (one order is $18 but enough to share and they will split into individual mugs, so nice!) to be honest, the chowder was less clam (there were two clams in shell in the chowder) and more like a baked potato soup. It was good, but compared to the rest of the meal it was my least favorite. Then, the grand finale, the lobster roll 😍 Giant chunks of claw meat with a dollop of mayo on a butter-toasted brioche bun. It was absolutely the star of the show!! Came with a side of extra crispy fries which I definitely didn’t need, but definitely ate anyway. I also enjoyed the royal Hawaiian gin based cocktail. It was good, but I would not drink more than one because it was very sugary. Our server was quick and attentive. The ambiance was nice (5 pm on a Monday, not too many people but not completely dead.) If I could make a recommendation it would be to put a tint or shade on the windows. While we enjoyed the natural light, it was very warm and I felt like I was in a greenhouse by the end. Overall 10/10 experience. Highly recommend for seafood lovers like me!

    We were overcharged for the food. Had reservation two weeks out and sat around back of restaurant where transient people two feet away from family trying to enjoy dinner while we cooked in summer heat. Food was good but charged double at a minimum due to price gauging. Oysters don’t cost $4/each - ridiculous. There was plenty of available tables outside top patio that had fans etc. The same drink at BarTaco next door was $8 but somehow $18 at Beetlecat - prepare to be robbed. (3) adults only two with a single alcohol beverage was $260 😳😳😳

    Great food! Great ambiance! A little loud downstairs-definitely not a first date spot downstairs because I had a hard time hearing the people at my table. I think at check-in they should ask you if you want to keep it classy airy and full of light (upstairs) or do you want it dark, chill club vibe and loud music (downstairs). Overall, great food and vibe! My first lobster ever—not the biggest sandwich, but OMG it was good!!!
