The Beefeater Steak House (403 526-6925) is nestled in the town of Medicine Hat, Alberta and is family run. This restaurant has been in business for over 47 years, serving traditional dishes like juicy barbecue chicken, baby back ribs and veal cordon bleu. In addition to house specialties like The King-Cut Prime Rib, The Beefeater Steak House has many seafood options, as well as a great wine list and voluptuous treats.

The menu at The Beefeater Steak House includes many broiled entrées, including filet mignon, T-Bone steak and the house specialty Prime Rib of Beef. Seafood fans will likely enjoy the lobster tails with hot butter or the Salmon Neptune with Asparagus and Hollandaise sauce. Finish off with a warm slice of apple pie with rum sauce and ice cream or cheesecake topped with strawberries. Our famous chefs and talented staff allow you to take in the best experience possible. A Nostalgic Return to Excellence at Beefeater, Medicine Hat Over thirty years ago, when our family lived in Medicine Hat, the Beefeater was our go-to spot for fine dining. My wife and I have countless fond memories of enjoying exquisite meals and impeccable service there. After all these years, I decided to return, and I’m thrilled to say that the Beefeater has stood the test of time. The food was just as outstanding as I remembered, and the service was equally impressive. It's rare to find a place where the quality remains consistent over decades, but Beefeater has managed to do just that. It was heartwarming to see that some things never change. Kudos to the Beefeater team for maintaining the high standards that made it a staple in Medicine Hat all those years ago. Highly recommended!

-fanatstic! booked a reservation for 715, and our waitress the one with the turqoise ring was awesome! attentive, and very polite, and personable! and the food was awesome! the surprise bday cake was good too

I have never before had a meal at the was dry Beefeater thst I did not enjoy but this visit proved different . The soup was excellent but my T bone steak was terrible . It was very tough ! For $55.00 a steak should melt in your mouth . My wife’s steak was also very tough and tasteless. Made me think the restaurant changed hands . I had never had a meal that i didnt enjoy at the Besfeater but this was my first and probably my last ! I will go to the Keg in future ! Sorry but if I am going to spend $400.00 on a outing , I want to enjoy the experience !

We have been going to The Beefeater for many years and have always had delicious food! The service has always been amazing! This most recent visit was for our anniversary. We weren’t planning to get a dessert as we were full. The waitress brought along a dessert to share which was so good! Thank You💗

My first time there. It was a dinner date with my daughter. First issue that we were sat by the men washroom. I was a bit grossed out. Waitress was ok, there were times it was hard to understand her. I think if she talked slower. I ordered the chicken Neptune and my daughter ordered the burger. The Neptune sauce was far to rich and buttery. I couldn't taste the seafood. The salad was meh. I could have got a bagged salad at home. My daughter lived the French onion soup. Her burger was very good and juicy. Unfortunately we won't be back. For the prices, the quality is not there. I was expecting to be blown away. In fact I was sick with stomach issues the minute I walked in my door.

Hi. We are sorry to hear about your experience here. Im hoping you talked to management that night to rectify any problems. Not sure if you had a reservation or not but we do recommend them which at that time you could ask for a certain table or a table off to the side. Our "neptune sauce" i a homemade, from scratch hollandaise sauce. We have been a locally , family owned restaurant for over 47 years and with that said we apologize for you experience and would hope you would give us another chance. thank you

There simply is no finer restaurant in Medicine Hat, or Alberta for that matter. Beefeater is family owned, a one location only. Not a chain restaurant . Give yourself a treat. If you want a really really class evening, with the finest of food and absolutely excellent service, Beefeater is the place to go. Thank you all at Beefeater!
