Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining.

Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.

In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. Beech reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of bad weather.

Wonderful ambience and service in the heart of Jamestown. We shared the calamari appetizer, which was superb, and I had the linguine (more like bucatini) with clams, which was excellent. The broth was wonderful and our server, Chace, gladly brought wonderfully toasted bread to dunk. She was also very knowledgeable about the food and drink offerings. Very good restaurant!

This place is amazing!! It was my bf and I’s anniversary and we got the best seat in the house. I accidentally made it for the wrong night and someone called me right away, and got me in for when I wanted. Drinks, apps, main course, and dessert were all amazing. A little pricey, but totally worth it!! We will be back!!

We had a memorable dinner with good friends. As always, service was welcoming and friendly, and although it was clearly very busy - there was no rush or pressure to move through courses. We sat in the Treehouse - so fun - and the entire place had a buzzy summer vibe. The food was delicious...perfectly shucked oysters; tomato/mozzarella salad with a blueberry-white balsamic vinaigrette; a crab-through-and-through cake; and various entrees of swordfish, tuna and salmon - all cooked to perfection and complemented with farm-fresh veggies. Cocktails (Gimlet, G&T), wine and dessert (gelato, cheesecake, berry torte) rounded it all out, and made for a beautiful evening of great conversation and plans for the next time!

Excellent late dinner Friday night after the Newport Folk Festival. Promptly seated us outside. Servers bustling about - constantly kept our water glasses filled. Fast food to table. Excellent starter dish of Calamari. Hot and not chewy! Crab cake is huge! Mainly crab and no filler. Friends loved the Bolognese - always a favorite. Too full for dessert! Walked home. Nothing better.

We like the ambiance , maybe you should review the batter of the calamari , too thick you do not taste calamari at all.

Service excellent. Food very good. Didn’t try to overdo or make things complicated. My filet was very good. Nice quality, served with mashed potatoes, green beans and a brown gravy. My partner had the swordfish. Both could have been cooked slightly less but still enjoyable. Crab cake app very good. Real crab was the highlight. Not a lot of filler.
