Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining.

Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.

In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. Beech reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of bad weather.

Beech is fantastic! Our server, Meg, was OUTSTANDING! She was well informed, attentive and engaging. And she humored my father in law’s “jokes”. Dinner was wonderful from the bread to the dessert! It was restaurant week so three of our party enjoyed three courses including lobster bisque, an entree (steak frites and seafood paella) and a lovely chocolate dessert. I kept it simple with the simply grilled shrimp which I always enjoy. All the food was excellent.

We arrived early because we were starving and we were seated right away. We sat in the Garden Room by the windows which was lovely and cozy. Our server was very attentive and had our drinks in no time. We shared the beef carpaccio as an appetizer. It had just the right amount of everything - a drizzle of white truffle oil, a bit of red onion, a sprinkling of capers - very well done. My husband had the filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. I had the house-made gemelli pasta which was a wonderful combination of flavors - chicken, baby spinach, mascarpone cheese, peas, bacon and mushrooms. We were stuffed so we took home the chocolate bread pudding because it was my husband's birthday. The server even stuck a candle in it so we could light it at home. All in all it was a wonderful dining experience and we can't wait to go back.

Best food experience around!! Everything was delicious, wonderful service, excellent ambiance, love the interior design. Highly recommend! My high compliments to the superb Chef!

Newport Restaurant Week Dinner. Great food & value. Nice wine list & price for a Paso Robles Cab. Lobster bisque & Paella was delicious.

Arrived on a Wednesday evening expecting a light crowd for a nice dining experience and sat at table next to the bar. The room was full and extraordinarily noisy with a center table group of very animated, loud, and obnoxiously rude couple of men. We mentioned the noise and asked about moving to another room and the server told us the noisy group would be leaving shortly. Management" should have calmed this group down, or asked them to leave, but perhaps 'politically incorrect' to ask for manners and courtesy?. In time they did leave and the room reverted to just simply too much noise in a small dining room open to the bar. Food was good - server seemed rushed but only one handling room. Bus person was very pleasant and helpful. Beech during the season when the rooms are open and airy is fantastic but when closed into a small room with too much noise majkes "fine dining" unpleasant. See you next summer!

Picked this restaurant because is was listed as one of Yelp’s top 25 in RI. BEECH did not disappoint. Beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous location, and we were happy with the cold tap beer and fall cocktail. While we will skip the Sticky Ribs app next time around, the Miso Halibut will be a dish we order time and again! The restaurant is a bit pricey, though, so we may save this place for a special occasion in the future.

Beautiful restaurant. Service was good. Food was mediocre. Expensive for what we had. 3 people two drink $170. Don’t mind that but I expect a really good meal.
