Beech is an all-seasons remake of an iconic Jamestown gathering place. Conceived by a group of Jamestown locals who wanted to give their community a restaurant that feels like home. Kevin and his team are serving up inspired creations across 5 dining areas that run the gamut from a lively bar scene to intimate, twinkle-light dining.

Requests for seating, be it outdoor seating in season or room requests during the colder months is a request only and not guaranteed. Beech will try and accommodate your request if there is seating available at the time of your reservation.

In case of inclement weather, Beech will make every effort to accommodate reservations and move the reservation inside, however such accommodations cannot be guaranteed based on Beech's inside capacity. Beech reserves the right to cancel reservations in the event of bad weather.

Outstanding in every aspect. The crab cakes and beef carpaccio deserve special mention. Lovely indoor/outdoor dining options which are perfect for summertime. Great service to boot.

Everything we ordered was delicious. Perfectly prepared. Scallops , lamb burger and chicken. Piccata. Great wedge salad. Open Table was not showing tables available at the time we wanted but we called and they were able to accommodate us. Great dinner !

We had a great time at Beech! We were given our choice of table by the host and our server Caleb was fantastic! Food was delicious, as usual! Definitely will make a return visit!

Our waiter was inattentive. He spilled beer on our table, placed the beer glass in the spill, and never returned with a cloth to clean up. One dining companion's salmon was lovely, cooked perfectly with a light and tangy barbecue sauce. But the other dining companion's fusilli with spinach, dried tomatoes, olives and pine nuts was not good: the fusilli was overcooked and the dish was over-salted. We felt the menu was limited. This was our third visit to Beech. Our prior two visits had been disappointing, as was our third. We do not believe we will return.

Thought it was fantastic. A real improvement over sempatico, that it replaced. Recommended reserving table in tree house, which has covered and open air dining. The food is as good or better than anything in Newport. No water view but food was incomparable. We had the mussels that were a step above any I have had in past. Miso glazed halibut was ‘to die for’. Blackened swordfish and scallop dishes were also wonderful. Service was attentive and efficient. Used to go to The Mooring when in Newport, now it’s Beech.
