We have been to Becco many times but it had been a while since our last visit. We were very satisfied and very full when we went last night. The restaurant was bursting the seams. We were seated in the bar area, which is rather tight but was probably quieter than the main downstairs room. The 3 daily pastas were excellent. the portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. We will continue to return to this long-standing establishment.

The food was absolutely wonderful, we were a party of 7, everybody really really enjoyed their food. The waiter was excellent, with a fun personality. Everyone from the hostess, waiter and ll the staff were very efficient and very mindful that we were going to a show, so everything was well timed. We’ll definitely be back!

I was expecting a little more quality food. The tris of pasta left me a little disappointed. Although the spaghetti were well cooked al dente, they served Mac and cheese basically which was all I was expecting besides this from an "italian restaurant". The spaghetti al pomodoro where to peppery but as said well cooked wic is not easy to find. I am sure they have a lot of very good plates, but this was my experience for what I ate.

We were seated right away and in a great seat. Portions were great and delish. The meal courses were a little slower than expected especially the dinner portion. We would of been able to have 2 servings of pasta had they came out earlier to ask us if we wanted more. Overall great food & service-just work on timing of meals.

Visited this restaurant several years ago and it was wonderful; however, this time it was nothing special. The 3 pasta sampler was basically boxed Mac and cheese, store bought spaghetti sauce and the 3rd forgettable. Service was mediocre at best. I was shocked as our last visit was excellent. Unfortunately this will be my last to Becco. If you loved it previously you should beware. I can’t believe this is up to Lidia’s standards.

The waiter was quite unfriendly, and both the concept and the food were disappointing. They only offer three types of pasta, and you’re required to order the set menu, which costs nearly $50 per person.

The triple pasta with Caesar salad was amazing and the sword fish was fresh and the best I’ve ever had over velvety mashed potatoes. ( and I’m a fisherman) Servers were impeccable!! Our water glasses were never empty!! The bread and oil and olives upon being seated was a welcome treat as we were “ready to eat” !! Highly recommend Becco !!

This is a great pre- theatre Italian place. The staff is always friendly in this loud and bustling trattoria, and they always get us out in time for our show. They are so accommodating, especially with kids. The fish, pasta and cheeses are always good, my son ordered the stuffed peppers our last visit and they were delicious. If you are on a schedule and wish for a solid - and lively- meal, this is a good choice.
