Avec l'équipe derrière The Stanton Social il y a Beauty & Essex, un grand restaurant de 930 mètres carres, avec son bar et salon au cœur du Lower east side.

L'atmosphère de l'espace est à la fois grandiose et intime, avec du caractère et effervescent.     Gather around the table for an abundant amount of Thanksgiving food and drinks! Bring your friends and prepare to meet new ones. All tables will be communally served a chef's tasting thanksgiving menu. The $85 per person fee will cover your food, plus a wine and beer open bar. Cocktails ordered will be charged upon consumption, alongside tax and gratuity for your experience. Beverage service starts at 6:30pm, and dinner will begin at 7pm.

    Our final seating will be for guests looking to join us through the New Year! Seating in our Dining Room will be $250 per person, not including beverages, tax, and gratuity. This will feature a special New Year’s Eve menu that will consist of our greatest hits. There will be a DJ, dancers, a countdown to midnight, and a complimentary champagne toast! All guests joining us for the final seating must be 21+ years of age. All guests attending our final seating must prepay the per person amount. In the event that you need to cancel, we ask that all cancelations be made by Monday, December 23rd in order to receive a full refund. After the 23rd, they are non-refundable. Decreases in party size cannot use remaining minimum towards beverage.

Join us Sunday through Thursday from 5 PM – 7 PM and 9 PM – late, or Friday and Saturday from 10 PM – late, for a perfect blend of flavors and ambiance, right when you need it.

    The biggest thing to remember about Beauty & Essex, is that it is pretending to be a speakeasy. When you arrive, there’s a big sign Beauty & Essex on the wall above the restaurant, but you don’t see any doors that lead into a restaurant. There appears to be a pawnshop at the address. It is however, a fake pawnshop and you go through there and the restaurant is out the back..

    Excellent food, excellent service, excellent ambience. Loved the music and the atmosphere. Love the candlelight dining experience. The chicken meatballs were mindblowing although everything was delicious! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    Have been going here for years, but this place might have lost it. Table service was great. Being seated 45 minutes after reservation time was less great. Menu also needs to evolve further. They are somehow serving some of the same mediocre dishes they were serving nearly 10 years.

    My spouse and I had a reservation for 8:45. We decided to get to the restaurant at 8:30 to have a cocktail at the bar prior to our table being ready. Well we didn't get our table until 9:45! An hour wait for a table for 2 when you have reservations is too much. The only reason I did not rate them lower was that the bartender was amazing and so kind to us. Once we were seated the waiter hardly even checked back on us. We were only able to order one drink! For the price of the meal, I think the service was less than desirable.

    Would not return. 35 mins late in seating us with a reservation. Front desk girls clueless. Not worth the money. Food is decent but many other spots to go.

    I recently learned about Beauty & Essex and made reservations for my birthday. I'd hoped it would work out but really had no idea. My friends and I had the time of our lives! The ambience was terrific, everyone was in a great mood and OMG the food - even the onion rings made me want to sing. Our waiter was super friendly, had great suggestions for food and cocktails and we all agreed we must come back. And I've paid tons more for food that wasn't nearly this delicious. A million stars!

    Very happy over all! Fun atmosphere- dark decor with beautiful setting laud music and busy. Food is worth going back for Salmon was delicious with risotto that was very tasty Beets with goat cheese on toast also delicious Kale salad and Mac n cheese was a favorite The hamburger was good but ours was a little charred so that was the only bummer. We didn’t have dessert.
