Avec l'équipe derrière The Stanton Social il y a Beauty & Essex, un grand restaurant de 930 mètres carres, avec son bar et salon au cœur du Lower east side.

L'atmosphère de l'espace est à la fois grandiose et intime, avec du caractère et effervescent. Différentes salles pour se prélasser et manger se dévoilent sur deux étages, comme une grande maison de ville du siècle dernier.     You can’t go past this place!! Great food, service and the atmosphere is amazing!!! Staff are friendly and great also. Hidden at the back of a pawn shop which in itself is fabulous. Loved it every bit of it!!! Highly recommend for that special night out or just to treat yourself!!!it’s not cheap but so worth it!!

    Worst service ever ! Host and hostess and all the staff seems like they hate their job , not a smile in the whole place the whole experience.. Table wasn’t ready so we had to wait at the bar , sat at the bar 20 min and both bartenders ignored us . Got seated , restaurant smells like a dive bar . They no longer have a live dj so the vibes were OFF .. the waiter took 12 min to bring us water and forgot to bring our drinks so our food showed up before our drinks . Then he blamed it on the bar . As pescatarians we had to order 4 appetizers because they ran out of salmon at 8:30pm ??? The food was gross , the flavors were off , too many ingredients to try to make it fancy but ended up being chilis quality. Don’t waste your time this place needs to shut down . It was good 7 yrs ago but now it’s trash

    Mixed reactions as this is a restaurant we love and have visited previously. Disappointed with menu- Sunday is a brunch only offering with limited choice. Certainly not as good as what was previously offered at dinner. Very ordinary and off hand 'greeting' at the front. We went the bar, which was great, staff friendly, until one of the greeters cam and hurried us to the table. Not good. Had natural oysters and a kale and apple salad. Both very good. The day was saved by the as always brilliant donuts. Overall not what was expected and a somewhat lacklustre experience.

    We had a great experience celebrating my loves bday. The food was great, the ambience was amazing, and our server Tito was incredible.

    Took my girlfriend there to celebrate a promotion, her first time here. The appetizers were tasty and the drinks were delightful. Entrees were also good, the beans that came with the branzino was a little salty. We had a small incident but the management staff was super professional and accommodating about it. Ambiance is aesthetically pleasing. Overall good time and will be going again

    Rude waitress, very pushy throughout the meal and then indignant at the end when we asked for our bill to be split two ways

    I had my birthday brunch with 12 friends and loved our table in the back. It allowed for me to get up and comfortably walk over to guests in between eating and drinking. Food and drinks were on point and everyone was happy!!

    What an interesting place from the entry way, through a pawn shop to beautiful interior. The whole experience was exceptional. I would highly recommend Beauty & Essex.
