Beau’s on the River opened at the Sheraton Suites Akron/Cuyahoga Falls in May of 2013. This restaurant and lounge on the river offers stunning views of the river rapids and falls with floor to ceiling windows with and innovative contemporary décor. As a sister property to Beau’s Grille at the Hilton Fairlawn, we offer a casual atmosphere with plenty of the same great food and service that the award-winning Beau’s Grille has been treating our loyal customers to for years. Executive Chef Beau Schmidt takes a unique twist on some of your old favorites with a fresh look and taste to his style of cooking. His mouthwatering plates taste even more amazing than they look.

Hidden gem. Great view of the river/falls from our table made the experience even more enjoyable. Steak was cooked to perfection.

Very disappointing. Outdated decor. Somewhat understaffed. Food was underwhelming. Definitely skipping this place in the future.

Wendy was our server and she was fantastic for our Sunday brunch. The brunch buffet is good, having both breakfast items, like scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and an omelet station as well as lunch items including prime rib, vegetables, and pasta salad as well as shrimp cocktail. This is a regular trip for us as we enjoy it so much. They also have bottomless mimosas if that is your thing.

I ordered Sea Bass, my favorite. I expected it as usual, a beautiful chunk of white fish. Well, that wasn’t the case. What I got was 3 pieces of breaded, seasoned fried fish…of some sort. Couldn’t tell what it was. I don’t eat fried anything. No where on the menu did they warn you that the fish would be fried or I would never have ordered it. The restaurant was beautiful, the view exquisite, and the staff was very friendly.

The view was spectacular! The food delicious and the restaurant was clean and modestly decorated with a nice ambiance. Will definitely be back! Oh the peanut butter pie was Devine!!

Great service and great views. The food is really quite amazing for a hotel restaurant. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a restaurant that was this good in a hotel. The lobster bisque, the lobster roll, and the calamari (which is unhinged), we’re all great. My daughter had a fillet which she thought was perfectly cooked for what she requested. She said it was very good, tender and buttery, but I’m not much of a red meat eater so I don’t know how it was. Sitting along the edge of the lounge allows great views of the Cuyahoga Falls .
