Bear street tavern is always a good experience, but I have noticed that they have not updated their menu in a long time and have raised their prices substantially. Excellent service, great ambiance. I really appreciate the dog-friendly patio!

Love Bear Street Tavern! Come every year as a tradition with my sons. The Godfather pizza is the best! Our server was very patient and accomodating.

Brought our family from Australia here after a day of touring the mountains, as it's one of my favorite spots in Banff. We made the mistake of sitting on the patio, which was my own fault. It was a bit windy, and the wasps were particularly bad. That being said, the pizza was delicious as always! I was a bit disappointed at the level of service we received from our server, as he wasn't very attentive (after about 10 minutes of trying to catch his attention for the honey & chili oil after our pizza arrived, I just got up and got some myself). Other than the lackluster service, this place remains one of my faves for casual but delicious food in Banff.

The restaurant was amazing. We had a reservation for 5 PM. We came early but they took us anyways. The drinks were really great. The food was amazing And the staff was awesome

Bison pizza was excellent (crispy crust) and the salad was a large serving and very filling.

So folks there were nice, but we ordered 4 pizzas and a salad to share. Took 30 minutes for any food to show up, we were at a TINY table and the server decided to bring EVERYTHING at the same time, so we sat there, then had way too much stuff on the tiny table. Pizza's were OK, nothing I would order again - crust was unimpressive. Had a pizza at Farm and Fire tonight - WAY better. Salad had about 2x the amount of dressing it should have. . . . . wouldn't really go back.

Third time here within the last year and unfortunately this time was 100% not worth it. The nachos appetizer which wasn’t anything over the top cost $40 and barely covered more than 2 people as an appetizer, it also cost more than the actual pizza?!? The pizza was ok however the menu changed and removed my favourite option and the service was disappointing. I am heading back to Banff in October and will definitely not be making another reservation for Bears Tavern nor would I recommend this to anyone else.

The food we ordered was very good! A little expensive for what it cost, and the service wasn’t anything special! Great tavern with an upgrade on “pub” food

We love bear street tavern! It’s a must stop for us when in Banff. Love that you can get gluten and dairy free pizza and the chili oil and honey is a must!
