My wife and I had an excellent experience at the Beacon Public House. We were greeted by our hostess upon arrival and taken to our reserved table. Our waitress was Meili. She was super attentive and very friendly. We had ordered some appetizers and some cocktails to start off followed by a rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries. Very good. Meili stopped over to check up on things several times during our meal which was much appreciated. The restaurant is very close to UMn sporting events which makes this location ideal. After the game we attended, we came back for a nightcap. Our bartender Mara did an excellent job with our cocktails and was also very friendly. This restaurant has a great location, good food and an excellent service staff. We will definitely be coming back again.

Our server took great care of us tonight. We had a table of 10 and we appreciated his hustle.

My wife and I came to the Beacon Public House for dinner prior to going to a UM volleyball game. The greeter was very nice and showed us to our booth that was already prepared for our arrival. We had an outstanding waitress (Shana) who was super attentive and very kind. Given how very busy it was during our dining she was able to multiplex easily between fairly large groups of tables and still be able to check up on us to see how things were going. I had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin medallions and my wife had chicken. Both were very good. In addition, they served us a nice portion of broccolini (it's seems rarer these days to get served a nice green vegetable) and I had baby roasted potatoes that was an excellent addition. Overall, we had an excellent meal in a lively fun pre-game atmosphere.

Made dinner reservation on Open Table, pre Gopher Women’s Basketball game. Hostess changed the tv channel near our table to accommodate our viewing preferences, thanks! Server Maeve was great! Attentive and efficient, and a good sense of humor. Happy hour drink prices. Food came out very quickly, was fresh and delicious. Only negative is restrooms are locked and you have to request a key from the hostess.
