if restaurants are going to use open table, then use correctly. I was told my 4 day old reservation for last night, was unfortunately overbooked. Clearly they bumped us for a larger group wanting to be on the patio. Not amazing experience for first time visit. Will not be going back there.

Great vibe, excellent service, solid wine list, great variety of menu. Food itself was inconsistent but still pretty good overall. Grilled octopus dish was delicious but octopus was overcooked, or left to rest too long before serving. Oysters weren't amazing. Arancini were tasty. Oyster mushrooms were cooked well but over-breaded and under-seasoned. Duck pappardelle was really good and just needed a tiny bit more sauce. Ravioli were cooked nicely but underwhelming appearance and texture. Would go back again for sure but might stick to meat dishes.

It was my first visit to this Oakville gem and it won't be my last. Great service (thank you, George!), great wine list and amazing food! One of the best patios in the area and a beautiful setting indoors as well. Would highly recommend and will definitely visit again!

This is my third time going to the Beacon and this time around I was very disappointed with the service. We had ordered the mango gelato ice cream and our server Isabella or Isabelle never returned with them. We waited for an hour then ended up asking another host where our waitress was and found out she had left for the night. Very disappointing especially since I brought my friend out for the first time to this place
