What a fantastic experience! Everything was perfect. Loved the finger foods, prosecco and delicious tea. Such a fabulous setting.

Great food and experience. I highly recommend for those people who visit Boston for the first time. Things I didn’t like were (1)small food portion (2) tables were too close to each other (3) mandatory kitchen fee.

Everything was great but…when we reserved a table for 1:30 on a Sunday nothing mentioned it was high tea only, so we were surprised not only that we could not get lunch but also that it was $70.00 per person. Wait staff and ambiance was great!

Friendly staff, loved the atmosphere and the details in the cafe and bookstore the fresh flowers in cafe and bookstore was a nice touch as well. We loved our meal looking forward to going back.

Wonderful food. Imaginative and exquisite decor. Every detail of the place setting and ambiance has been considered. Top notch service and a wander thru the bookstore after was magical.

Very cool bookstore but we had an extremely overpriced and mediocre lunch at the Cafe. While the cafe vibe is cool, the service was mediocre and the food was not worth the high prices. Portions were extremely small and the taste of the meal was just mediocre. Would not recommend.

Waited so long to get this reservation and finally did! Excited! Three people were crammed into a tiny two top. The waiter took our drink order and didn’t come back for 20 minutes and then brought two coffees instead of the three drinks we actually ordered. So strange. Never took our food order so finally flagged down the host who took it. When it came my Panini was 90% bread with maybe half a piece of ham and a half of piece of apple for $25. Never checked on us. The actual bookstore is great. The café is just not - ugh - has such potential. The waiter spent most of the time talking to two guys at another table. I don’t know what was going on there, but it was a big disappointment. (and it was embarrassing because I had talked it up so much and had two out-of-town guests who probably thought I was nuts for bringing them there)
