Let the Beach Pea’s team of talented chefs prepare a delicious meal for you. With diverse specialties, ranging from French cuisine to traditional Italian pasta, the combined experience of this kitchen produces delicious, elegant dishes with a focus on fresh Nova Scotia seafood.

We accept reservations for dinner service, but if our dining room and patio are full, you are welcome to have a refreshing drink at the breezy bar while you wait to be seated.

Please note that we hold reservations for a maximum of 15 minutes
We are happy to accommodate parties of 1-8 guests in our intimate space.

                                            Scallops were nicely cooked. Murray’s appetizer was good to share between two. Good menu variety. Reasonable wine list. Generally solid across the board.

                                            The octopus starter was delicious and tender. The local oysters on the half shell were small but tasty in their briny juice. Was ready to order for dessert they were so good. Rabbit risotto with scallops was delicious, cooked perfectly. Our server excellent. Highly recommend.

                                            Nice interior and casual mood. Lighting was subdued. Wait staff was very knowledgeable and had great wine recommendations. Food was tasty and served at just the right temp. Will be back.

                                            This was a great place for great meal. The burrata (for me) and the tuna tartar (for my wife) apettizers were fantastic. One of the few restaurants we found that had nice selection of wine (although not extensive) to order. Thanks for a great meal Beach Pea. We will back next time we are in town!

                                            The raw oysters, cocktails, scallop risotto, seafood pasta sepia, and cheesecake with lemon curd and pistachio ice cream were fantastic! A real find it’s a wonderful server from Australia. We loved it!!
