We had a great server named Siena. The food that was ordered was the Miso Sea Bass which was very nice, but the wok style veggies were all way over done. Didn’t eat them as they were just mush. Others at the table had the Maple Sable Fish and it was very good but the accompanying vegetables and potatoes were not fitting. It should have been soft mashed potatoes or rice to match the seafood.

This is an attractive restaurant at Dundarave Beach on the waterfront of Burrard Inlet. It is one of about 70 Fuller Family's restaurant holdings (Earls, Cactus Club, Joey's, Birdies, etc.). The menu focuses on seafood but other things are offered. I ordered the crab and shrimp salad. It was attractive as presented but the shredded crab was barely noticeable and the shrimp were so overcooked they were hard and dry. A good dish as conceived, but execution was lacking. I advised the server about the shrimp but no adjustment was made. My partner ordered the maple-soy sablefish. This version was perfectly cooked. It was served atop broccolini with uninspired potatoes on the side. The greens should have been tender-crisp but stem pieces were cut too large and undercooked. Desserts were the Berry Napoleon and Coconut Chiffon Cake. Both very nice.

We were seated right on time. We received our meals at the same time. The view was beautiful.

Great location on the beach. Amazing sablefish, everything was delicious! Reluctantly deducted one star as we were disappointed that we couldn’t sit on the patio. Will reserve further in advance next time!

Not very impressed overall , unfortunately. Only one of our dishes was good. And they don't have very many selections if you are gluten free. Easily rectified with a few substitutions in the kitchen so not sure why they don't.

Food was excellent, yet it really doesn't need to be so pricey. Markup on wines and drinks the same. Atmosphere and location is the best in the city. Perhaps some special hosted wine dinners with a charity component? That would make the pricier cost more tolerable if there was a % taken as a charitable donation? Cheers!
