    The view is so stunning it made up for the mediocre service and cold fries . For 36$ the crab salad could have been way better .

    Excellent hidden gem of Vancouver. Wonderful views, great service, and delicious food. Probably the top 5 restraunts of Vancouver that isn't discovered and blown out of proportion.

    Lovely view and good food, but server wasn’t familiar with the menu. Washroom was dirty.

    An excellent menu that covers all meal perspectives that is overshadowed by the quality of the food and service. We will definitely be returning and see “The BeachHouse” becoming a family favourite for all occasions!

    2nd time at restaurant however service here continues to be challenge. Waitress must be new as she was not familiar with the menu when asking what type of crab was used in the lump crab cakes. Initial answer was Atlantic. I asked her to check with the kitchen and she came back with the answer small. 100% she never checked. Bus boys also seem new and very inexperienced. When one of them was spraying windex on the front entrance doors, he kept getting into my guest’s face. We told him and he said sorry but kept spraying anyways. Another busboy asked us if he could clear some plates on the table. He asked us to hand them over to him. Honestly we’re only at a 4 seater and he wasn’t holding anything and didn’t need to lean in with any difficulty. We provided our feedback to the manager and appreciate being comped the drinks but we’re not expecting to be comped anything. Hesitate to return based on poor service and it’s a shame because the food was good.

    Service on the patio was perfunctory - the manager was great. We observed that some of the staff lacked good grooming and dress. Our meals were a 7 out of 10.

    We were a party of 2 women for Brunch on Saturday. I had reserved a patio table. Unfortunately we were seated by two families with 4 or 5 kids between them who were out of control shrieking and shouting. Please take note that most female diners are not more sympathetic to badly behaved children. I ordered the smoked salmon rosti with a soft poached egg. The dish was well composed. However the potato pave was not warm and nor was the egg which was hard poached. My friend ordered the jumbo lump crab benedict. Again well composed but she felt that a single ounce of crab meat over 2 eggs did not make the dish standout out.
