The Beach House has one of the most beautiful locations in Vancouver but very much rests on that. Food is consistently mediocre for a high price. Service is generally good but waits for food can be surprisingly long. Best bet with this restaurant is happy hour or small bites and half priced wine on Wednesdays. Otherwise it’s very consistent on not being worth the price.

The Beach House has wonderful service snd food. My only complaint is that the price of wine is too high! Would stop me going there often.

The Beach House is always a lovely place to go for a girls' lunch / celebration. We enjoyed a lovely lunch with wonderful service ... the staff was amazing!!

Food was good but the catch of the day was little over done. Halibut overcooks quite fast.

Great service! Our server went out of her way to make certain all was to our liking. My daughter received another steak to add to her Cobb salad when the server noticed that the plated steak was not rare as was requested. Nothing was said by my daughter but our server noticed and made things right. Kudos to her…,wishing I knew her name!

The ambiance was so lovely with views of Lions Gate Bridge and English Bay that set the stage as we sat under heaters on the patio. Our server, Matt, was terrific with helping me decide on the right wine to go with my meal along with great suggestions on what to order. Overall a wonderful night.

Mark was the perfect combination of attentive but not over busy and humourous without being cheeky. We had a lot of fun and our meals were amazing! The Short Rib Pappardelles (sp?); the Crab and Shrimp Louie Salad and the Halibut Fish & Chips. Beautiful setting even in the rain and had a lovely long relaxed lunch.

Asked for quiet area and it was too loud and noisy. Couldn’t hear table partners . will not go again. Need to put in noise mitigation and turn OFF music
