Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

The food was outstanding. Our waiter was not so great not very friendly very regimented. But I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone if you want beautiful ambience, beautiful view and Great food.

A must do at least once when in Kauai! Sunset view is incredible! Also extremely busy at sunset but clears out right after. Food and service were excellent!

Overpriced, undercooked scallops. Oversalted grilled fish Tiny salad Mash potatoes like reconstituted packet potatoes. Tomatoes and broccoli were nice.

Went to Beach House with a large group to celebrate a couple of birthdays, and we had such a great experience! I’ve been here before, but watching friends and family indulge and have a great time was even better! The food was incredible (as always), the ambiance is top-notch, and the service was impeccable. A huge thank you to our server, Brisha (spelling?), who had the patience of a saint while we figured out our order, and made the night extra special for our birthday VIPs. Thank you!

We had a table of 8, with reservations made a couple or so weeks back. This is a restaurant you select because of the scenic views. However, we were stuck in the back of a temporary structure up against an adjacent condo that afforded no view and was extra uncomfortable as there was no breeze. I shared my concerns with the GM (whose name I failed to get), who demonstrated little concern and offered no relief. I’ve been bringing large parties to this restaurant for at least 10 years, but this was my last visit. Food was decent, the service was perfectly acceptable, the table was atrocious and the GM was simply unsympathetic.

Easily the worst restaurant experience in Kauai the only selling point for this place is the location and views as the food and service were mediocre at best. Would highly recommend other options really regret making a reservation to this place.

Ordered the seared sea scallops, brown butter ulu mashed potatoes, grilled chili oil broccoli, puuwai tomato garlic salad. $60. Scallops (there were 4 of them) were ok nothing exceptional. Mashed potatoes were soft, runny and heavy on butter and garlic. Tomatoes were delicious. Broccoli was ok. My wife is allergic to garlic and onions and seafood. So she planned on eating the filet mignon $63.00 with some sort of potato and vegetable side. Other than the steak, virtually every menu item contains garlic- every item! So our server offered plain white rice and steamed broccoli. The steak was good not great. My take away.. if you want ambience this restaurant is the best -you can watch the sun set on the Pacific Ocean. As for the food my guess is much of the food is pre-prepared thereby limiting any made to order menu items which would accommodate people with allergies etc. If you have allergies best advice.. call ahead. Or have a cocktail and appetizers and watch the sun set over the ocean. I
