Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Great waiter named Richie made the evening and meal special. Delicious food and all his recommendations were delicious.

Booked for our 30th anniversary. Front staff seemed irritated that we refused the first table that was outdoors directly in the sun, so they put us at a tiny 2 person table at the busiest spot right near the entrance. There were plenty of other spots that were not occupied that would have been nice. Our waiter was nice, even got us a complimentary half glass of champagne. He gave good advice for the meal and split us a salad in the the back… which was nice since there wasn’t much room on the table for drinks, the bread and a large plate to go in the middle. Main course was decent, we both got a fish dish (mahi mahi and the ahi). The fish itself was great, sides were not good. No dessert since we were not liking the traffic by our table and the crowd was getting louder as the sun was setting, we just wanted to go. At $53 for a small portion of fish and $10 for a pint of beer you are paying for the view, which is decent when there isn’t a crowd outside blocking it. Overall would not go back.

A special place to celebrate two family birthdays and Valentines Day. The food was excellent. Molly our server was attentive and helpful in explaining our dinner choices. And the view. One of the most beautiful restaurant views in the world!

We chose this place for a special occasion, anniversary. I was told I would be given a lei on arrival and did not get one. We arrived 30 early and couldn’t be seated until 5 minutes before our reservation. We were placed in a very loud area, we could see the ocean but couldn’t hear anything befit was so loud. I had requested a nice table for our special occasion. We moved to outside but that soon became very congested with people waiting for tables. Our dinner was good but I expected more considering the price. My meal was under seasoned. There was not any worthwhile special menu in light of Valentine’s Day. In the end I wish we would have eaten somewhere else. It was a great view of the ocean but not sure it was entirely worth it.

View was amazing! Broccoli salad was very good. Nut crusted fish was not good at all. Outside was a bit mushy, like fried chicken that had been reheated. Very over-priced. Overall taste wasn’t great either. $200 for 2 glasses wine, 2 salads and 2 entrees, no dessert.

The young bus boys were great. Refilled our water and greeted us with smiles. Asked if we needed anything. Really enjoyed the ambiance and the beautiful outdoors.
