Our stunning ocean-front location with spectacular sunsets makes the Beach House an iconic destination on Kauai's south shore that has won the Hale 'Aina Award for "Best Restaurant - Kauai" for 20+ years.

Our philosophy at the Beach House is simple - take aloha, blend it with fresh and high-quality ingredients, and add an ocean view to deliver a handcrafted, Hawaiian experience. Executive Chef Marshall Blanchard makes the most of local ingredients by sourcing our fish directly from island fisherman and our beef from neighboring ranches. We incorporate fresh and local produce throughout our menu, highlighting Hawai'i farms and the resources that surround Kauai.

Reservations are highly recommended for a dining room table in our open-air restaurant. We also offer lounge seating on our lawn, where the full menu and full service are available on a first-come-first-serve basis. Please check in with the bar host for lawn seating.

Superb food and extremely attentive service. Even though we reserved late for our party of six, we sat outdoors under a clear tent that was oceanfront for an early dinner (4:15). Outstanding in every way and. Courtney our server was fantastic

We did have to wait 20 mins past our reservation time for the table, but it was a beautiful setting. Food was great and service was great.

Wow! We had another outstanding meal last night. The ahi appetizer was so great, fish was Devine and the bok choy was fabulous as well as the coconut crème brulle. Brandon was exceptionally attentive and a delight.

We’ve been going to Beach House for the past 10 yrs, but the last two years, despite a reservation, we still have to wait 30 minutes. The service is fantastic, but the waiting area if it’s raining is so packed, and people are standing everywhere inside the restaurant, creating an awkward spot at your table if you’re trying to enjoy a romantic/special dinner. Of course, if you get there at sunset, the views are insane and the wait seems lessened.

Fantastic service and great food. A perfect place to watch the sunset as a couple or with kids. Lots of outdoor space.

Beach house is sadly off their game. The Mac Fish which was always excellent had poor coating and not well cooked. The swiss chard was poorly cooked and bitter. They are really filling it up and therefore our food was very slow in coming out. While view remains spectacular , building really needs some CAPEX.

Another fantastic visit to the Beach House! The food, ambiance, and location cannot be beat. Our server Makayla (sp?) was incredibly attentive, kind, and made the whole dining experience amazing. She was by far one of the best servers we have ever had. From the food, cocktails, beautiful views, photo ops, servers, and location ….all of it was outstanding! Thank you Beach House, you never disappoint in all of our years returning to Kauai.

I have been going to Kauai for over 20 years during the holidays. Always love to do a sunset dinner at the Beach House. This year food was not what it has been in the past . Ahi tuna was salty with not much flavor. Seemed to have been seared awhile before it was served. We had a reservation and was sat immediately which was nice but when we left long after sunset restaurant was a zoo with people waiting everywhere and valet was a nightmare. The valet do work extremely hard in such a tight situation. It just seemed to be quantity of people way over quality of food and service. Hopefully just a bad night and not a standard for the restaurant.
