Great evening. Would be good to see stump steak on the menu or a ribeye/fillet. Sirloin just ok. Staff service ok. Thank you.

Located in a quiet pedestrian area this restaurant provides wonderful service and food. We chose just the daily catch - beautifully prepared and a pleasure to eat. We will go again soon.

Great experience from start to finish. The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming. The food was tasty and in abundance. A great experience all round!!

We had a lovely meal here. We turned up at the wrong time (I had made the booking for later than I thought), this was no problem at all and they sat us down straight away. The menu was great. Just what we were expecting. I ordered the Chowder for main and was delighted with my choice, it was delicious. We ordered some wine, whcih was so nice, we've tried to find it online to buy some more (the Bacchus). The restaurant is dog friendly and we had a lovely conversation with a couple who had bought their (very well behaved) setter with them. It was a really nice and relaxed environment. The icing on the cake for me was the amazing staff. They were friendly and attentive and obviously loved working there (or were great actors!). They were knowledgeable about the menu and super friendly, making recommendations which were spot on. Overall, it was delicious food, in a friendly environment with great staff. The price was reasonable. I will definitely eat there again when I am back in Dartmouth.

The whole experience was good. We booked a 2 night stay for a special anniversary, including dinner on the first night. The meal was so good that we cancelled a booking already made elsewhere for the second night, our actual anniversary, and ate here again. We made a good call! Every single part of our stay was a delight, with the lovely team of staff ensuring we were happy and enjoying the experience. We’d originally had a few misgivings about overnighting in a pub, based on some previous experiences, but so glad we overcame them and stayed. We will be back there in the future.

Bayards Cove Inn is consistent in terms of food, quality, service and overall experience. We have been dining over the last five years and have never had a bad or mediocre experience I’m pleased to say. Thanks very much.
