Baxter's Landing is a true gem among exceptional restaurants. The floor plan is spacious, and the restaurant is always clean, contributing to a calm, inviting, and relaxing atmosphere. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a decent conversation without the need to shout over obnoxiously loud music. The culinary excellence is evident in the well-portioned, delicious dishes made with high-quality ingredients, all at reasonable prices for the quality offered. The staff provide outstanding service, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency by going above and beyond to accommodate any reasonable modifications to menu options. Over the past year, Baxter's Landing has become our go-to spot. I even celebrated my 50th birthday here, and it was a wonderful experience. We had an issue with not being seated with other members of our party, but it was resolved immediately and they made up for it. Our server Danny was phenomenal!!!! He was funny, attentive, professional and MADE our evening. The food was delicious, a little over-priced (but what isn't these days!), but good. The manager was also lovely and paid great attention to us as well. We had a GREAT evening.

I suggested coming to Baxters Landing with a group of friends who were reuniting after spending the summer apart. Most had never been to this restaurant and we wanted to go somewhere more upscale to enjoy a moms night out. Initially the service was good and drinks were prompted and then it went downhill from there. Only half of the table had their order taken when we decided on appetizers, we had trouble ordering more drinks. An espresso martini was made with baileys vs what was written on the menu. Another friend ordered a glass of rose wine and was severed a glass of what seemed like tap water used to rinse the bottle out that had floating particles all in it. It literally wasn’t even pink, which we think when the bartender poured they should have noticed right away that something was wrong. The washroom hasn’t had any attention given to it in hours, garbages were overflowing. I was really disappointed and had to apologize to the group for suggesting a place that in the past has been a nice place to go. I understand staffing can be difficult but the restaurant wasn’t even 3/4 full.

The food was very good and the service was excellent. Our server was attentive and enthusiastic without being pushy or us feeling rushed. We will visit again!

It was not very busy but it was like we were invisible. We did not get service within the first 5-10 minutes of being seated, so went to the Hostess to inquire about being served. We again waited a few minutes before a wait staff finally came over to us (we were already thinking we were going to go somewhere else). He was apologetic etc. but does not make up for the slow acknowledgement . We shared a charcuterie board which was very nice and had a drink. Hopefully this was a one-time issue and that service is better than what we experienced (this was our 3rd time here and have had better service).
