We’re delighted to introduce Bavette. A neighbourhood bistro filled with warm engaging hospitality, with a menu of seasonally led classically driven dishes.

We hope to get that balance of generosity and quality right - that juxtaposition of every day special.

Bavette is a love letter to our favourite places we’ve been to and been lucky enough to be a part of.

Simple food done brilliantly with great ingredients. Wonderful, attentive service and really relaxed environment. Exactly the things I want from a restaurant.

I treated my Dad and his friend, who has been keen to try the restaurant to a meal and it did not disappoint! Everyone was absolutely delighted with their meals! I enjoyed the beetroot salad and then the monkfish both were absolutely delicious. Looking forward to coming again in the near future!

Argumentative waiting staff . Cloudy & fizzy wine served which they describe as funky & completely acceptable! Tasteless & very fatty lamb. Tart Tatin - I’ve cooked better myself. Not a great evening/ experience!

was really excited for my first visit to Bavette after waiting a long time to book a table and it was a special occasion. Starters, wine and service lovely however the Côte de boeuf was very disappointing especially for the price point of £90. It was misleading that it wasn’t described by either the waiter initially or the menu as being soaked in brine as the meat then was very salty (too salt for me to eat properly as struggle with salt) and not juicy and not how I expected (expected tender rare juicy meat), it was also fattier than expected. If we had known it was soaked in brine, we would have chosen the onglet or the lamb. I hope to come back and try the evening a la carte menu and have a better main course experience that matches the starter wine and service we enjoyed this time.

I had the rack of lamb. It was very tough and the server offered to cut it up. Didn’t help. Then I selected the tarte tatin and it was overcooked. The syrup was inedible. all in all very disappointing.

Amazing food and service from all of the staff but a huge shout out to Joe who was our server. He took the time to explain everything, make recommendations and looked after us the whole night. He was so energetic and personable and made our evening! Can’t wait to return and will be recommending Bavette to everyone!

A beautiful restaurant with excellent service and incredible food and wine. You can really tell how much care and attention goes into every detail! Will defo be back.
