Out of passion, tradition, hard work and integrity, Bavaro’s opened its doors in March 2009 as the first traditional Neapolitan Pizzeria in the state of Florida. Determined to share their family recipes with the world, Dan Bavaro, his wife Anna-Maria, and their five beautiful children packed their U-Haul, left their friends and family, drove from New Jersey to Tampa, and set out to provide for others the same love, energy, and authenticity that they experience around their own dinner table.

Bavaro's Sarasota never disappoints and have given new meaning to TGIF. It is our Friday night go-to, where they serve the best wood-fired Pizza Napolitana you will find. But, don't stop there, as their menu offerings include many uniquely creative appetizers, meals and desserts, perfectly prepared and always served by their warm, friendly staff. A delight not to be missed.

First time dining at Bavaro’s. Our waiter Steven was the best! Great table with a view. His suggestions to the menu were spot on and he made us feel like we were the only people he was taking care of. The homemade pasta was delicious. After dinner we went to the lovely Bar area for dessert & drinks with Doug pouring expertly. We had a wonderful time. Thank you Steven & Doug!

Bavaro's of Sarasota is a weekly must go, and we almost never miss our Friday evening pizza fests there. Their wood- fired pizza is the best we've had. Bavaro's also offers a delicious assortment of appetizers, followed by uniquely prepared menu options- something for everyone along with a super friendly staff (our fave server, Steven is a gem), but all who work there, from the greeters/seaters, servers and manager, Joe, ensure that you'll be more than satisfied. Bavaro's has given new meaning to TGIF and the next countdown has begun.

We had a very nice time here again. Doug did an excellent job of making us feel welcomed. The pizza was very good and HH pricing was great !!!!

Our experience with Carrie was excellent, she was very knowledgeable of the menu, Cropped salad and meatballs were excellent also had a great pasta dish with rigatoni. Will be back when in town.
