Chef / Owner Pat Pascarella of The Porchetta Group welcomes you to his third restaurant, Bastone. Bastone is home to an Italian wine focused mozzarella bar featuring handcrafted pastas and craft cocktails. The star of the show is Bastone’s mozzarella bar offering charcuterie and hand pulled mozzarella to order. With 60 indoor seats, over 100 outdoor and a 10-40 person private dining room, Bastone offers experiences from an intimate date night to large gatherings for friends, family, and business.

Beginning March 18th, the tableside pasta wheel experience is back! Chat with our chef while he cooks your pasta inside the parmesan wheel right next to your table. Everyone in the party must participate and it is only available during our Aperitivo Hour. Reservations are very limited, so book now!

We sat at the bar and had appetizers, cocktails and dessert. The food was fantastic especially the mussels and crispy potatoes and focaccia. We had Lemon cheesecake for dessert which was divine.

My visit to Bastone was amazing! Food was 10/10. Ambience was a 10/10. Customer service was 10/10. Most definitely recommend to others!

We really enjoyed our first visit (but won’t be the last) here! Food and service were equally fabulous. They do get crowded, so be sure to have a reservation and be prepare to sit in the covered outdoor area.

Amazing food! Took over 30 minutes to receive appetizers (one which was olives!) and couldn’t find our server to ask for more water or order mains. Asked another server to check - and the manager came over. He explained our food had been given to another table and would take care of it. Immediately all of our food came out, water stayed full and mains ordered/came fast. Ended better than started! Would come back with friends - but not for a business dinner again.

My wife and I went to Bastone there on NYE for dinner. I acknowledge that they were likely understaffed (as many establishments were that night), and thus, I hope that our experience was not indicative of the typical dining experience there. But on that evening, it was not great. The restaurant layout is a bit cramped, but reasonable people can disagree. But it was the food and the service that were the real disappointments. The pasta was WAY too salt -- so much so, that I just stopped eating it at one point. In fact, my wife's entree was too salty as well, as was our starting course. My pasta dish was a bit undercooked, as well. I won't comment much on the waiter (because, hey, wait staff work is really hard work), but I will say that the service was not great. Not very attentive, a bit disengaged, not helpful with recommendations; just seemed to be unbothered for the most part. As if he could not care less that we were at his establishment. Gosh, that food was not worth the price! It was a bit surreal: Bastone is highly reviewed in most sources I looked at when making the choice to dine there. Maybe this was just an off (WAYY off) night. But someone else will have to check and see; I can't stomach going back for that food.

The food and drinks are amazing! We got the chefs special for NYE, the NY strip steak and short rib pasta with lobster and brown butter sauce. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

We had a wonderful first time dining here, and we will certainly be back! The Happy Hour special appetizer, with a combination of speck, a small sample of mozzarella and foccaccia slices, was fantastic. We also enjoyed some of the small plates including the Crispy Brussels Sprouts, Seared Halloumi, and Salmon alla Piastre. The Campanelle pasta was also very good, along with the special Sunday Rigatoni pasta. The Cacio e pepe and Carbonara could have been better; however, there are still many more items on the menu that look delicious, so we will return as soon as possible!
