D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Acclaimed chef Tyler Akin is back with Bastia, his stylish Mediterranean restaurant inside Fishtown’s Anna & Bel hotel. Snag a seat at one of the green marble bar tops or at a cozy table by the fireplace to dig into seafood-forward dishes like sea urchin butter tartine paired with playful cocktails and riffs on classic aperitivi. Either way, the all-day cafe is made for lingering, just like his beloved and now-shuttered Res Ispa was.

The langoustines, while having a good taste, were so incredibly small. They give you four of them and with four of them you get enough meat for the tiniest taste of food for $25.

One of the best meals I have had in Philadelphia. Comparable to one star Michelin place I have been.

Very cool venue!! Super, super tiny portions. Very small pours of alcohol, extremely expensive for the value. Must say I was very excited to dine here, very disappointing.

Roman living in America. Always looking for authentic interpretations with creativity. Big time lover of food. Pasta shapes and consistency were superb. Creative sauces. Wine pairings and selection uniquely specific and well rounded. Service friendly and knowledgeable. Second courses did not blow me away though there were highlights. The pork belly impressed while the entrecôte left me not super satisfied. A big fan of the simplicity of salmoriglio I did not find its balance correct and the broccoli rabe overcooked. But the olive oil cake, pistachio ice cream and luxardo cherries definitely brought my appreciation around again. Accompanied by a fruit forward Sicilian blood orange amaro !
