D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : Acclaimed chef Tyler Akin is back with Bastia, his stylish Mediterranean restaurant inside Fishtown’s Anna & Bel hotel. Snag a seat at one of the green marble bar tops or at a cozy table by the fireplace to dig into seafood-forward dishes like sea urchin butter tartine paired with playful cocktails and riffs on classic aperitivi. Either way, the all-day cafe is made for lingering, just like his beloved and now-shuttered Res Ispa was.

Join us for our annual Friendsgiving on November 25th and 26th as we transport you to Sardinia and Corsica for a five-course menu. Start with cheese, charcuterie and snacks. Next enjoy a course of salads, including a sun-dried tomato panzanella and more. Continuing with a family-style lamb and pistachio lasagna, followed by grilled orata and Bonifacio-style roasted eggplant. Desserts for the table include pumpkin cake and burnt cardamom leaf panna cotta. The menu is $95 per person, inclusive of tax and gratuity, with optional wine and non-alcoholic pairings available at an additional cost, along with our full cocktail menu. Vegetarian and pescatarian options are available upon request; please let us know of any dietary needs when booking.

Food and cocktails were fantastic, great ambience, wonderful service, we were offered a complimentary pour of bubbles for anniversary, food came out timely and portions were perfectly sized. We will absolutely be back. The only challenge of our experience was narrowing down our order because the whole menu was so intriguing and appealing!

Terrible to find place to park. Almost not possible. For this we just can’t go there too often. May be use uber🥹

The food at Bastia was all excellent. Subtle flavors, perfect taste, beautiful presentation. If you like very loud spaces, made louder with unnecessary piped in music, lots of hip young people, this is fantastic. The noise is far above energetic. The owners have created a beautiful space and hopefully will over time, do something to make the noise level not almost painful. For the food, I'd go back tomorrow.

Took 30 min to find street parking (Uber if you can as there are no lots). Waited 40 min to get seated for an 8 pm table on a Friday. Everyone was super apologetic including the chef who came out and said they’d “take care of us.” After getting seated service was quite slow, still. Drinks were delicious. Food was good (whole fish outstanding). The room is beautifully done. Received a salad on the house, which was the extent of us being taken care of. Kind of felt like insult to injury. Oh well; at least the company was great.

Food was amazing and restaurant ambience is gorgeous but NO parking! Took us 1/2 hr to find parking. Suggest Uber to restaurant

We had a really great meal! The vibe is great and the food is fantastic, albeit a little pricey and fussy. Otherwise no notes!

My husband and I were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary Friday night and as soon as we walked in the door we were warmly welcomed by friendly staff members who explained our wait but encouraged us to sit by the pool. When we told them it was our anniversary they took a picture of us and told us about the interesting history of the historical building. We were soon greeted by another group of friendly wait staff (Justin - our waiter) who made many helpful suggestions for my gluten free diet. The drinks, appetizers, dinner and dessert were all outstanding and we can stop recommending your wonderful restaurant to everyone, especially our out of town guests who will also be thrilled.
