Join us on October 16th for a celebration of vegetables as we host James Beard Foundation Award-winning author Hetty McKinnon for a one-night-only dinner as part of Sisterly Love Collectives' Cookbooks & Convos series. Chef-Partner Tyler Akin designed a vegetarian, four-course menu in partnership with local farms and inspired by Hetty's lauded cookbook, Tenderheart. The evening will showcase local and seasonal vegetables through the lens of Bastia's coastal Mediterranean cuisine. $125 per person inclusive of tax and gratuity. Tickets include a signed copy of Tenderheart by Hetty McKinnon. N/A Pairing is available at $40pp Wine Pairing is available at $65pp.

Food is 10/10 nothing like it in philadelphia. The hotel where it is located is stunning.

We had a great time at Bastia. This addition to the neighborhood is such an upgrade. Food and service was excellent

By far one of the best meals I’ve had in Philly in a long time. Definitely feels Michelin level in ingredients, presentation and taste. Absolutely will go back. Only downside is the noise level is extremely loud (out of their control)

There was nothing I didn’t love about this experience except that I forgot my leftover Osso Buco (which was only leftover because many other things were ordered). Everything is from the menu to the the dining experience felt thoughtfully executed and I’m excited to go back. The fried octopus was really something special.

First class in every dimension. Warm, informative, well-paced service by a knowledge team. Well designed and beautiful setting for a great meal and easy conversation either for a group or date night. But the star of the show is undoubtedly the food. Exceptionally well prepared, flavorful and distinctive with each course. Superior quality product but the execution, seasoning and balance was notable. The five of us had nine different plates. All were amazing. Notables include the grilled date salad, scallop and crisp, the strozapretti ricotta dumplings, the gnocchetti with lamb and pistachios, the entrecôte and the honey squash sundae and olive oil cake desserts. Can’t wait to go back to try more of the entrees as well as the evolving evening specials.

We decided to sit outside as it seemed like it would be hard to hear our conversation inside( I do find that issue in alot of other resturants too). The place itself is lovely both inside and out. You feel like you are in a high end place. The service was outstanding. The presentation of the food was wonderful! We all got different dishes so we could try each others. The portions were small. There were 4 of us and 2 of the 4 main courses were way to salty. I like alot of salt and salt most things. For me to think the meals were to salty is saying something.

Everything was fantastic. Loved loved loved it. Will be a regular for sure. I just have one piece of advice hehe play some better music, maybe some ITALO disco to match the vibe
