We were seated Promptly for our 6:30 reservation. Received water and some bread. A server came over to take our order for drinks and he came back to take out water for meals which we felt was sort of quick. Our drinks came next thing I know we were ordering. Salads were ordered and came out really fast. Next thing we know our meals came out . Which was again really fast. Which in some cases is good and bad but we were catching up with people that we haven’t seen since like April and try to have conversation. Just seems like everything was rushed even when the waiter brought Bill we hadn’t had a chance to look at it, but he was ready to pick it up to take it back. Where I made the reservations on open table. It didn’t mention for like parties of 4 a 2 hour time limited. It was about 810 that we even seem more rushed. They were coming to clean the plates. Take the water glasses off, but there was no one waiting to sit down that we could see for dinner reservations. There were other open tables, anyways some Four Tops and some 2 tops. So I don’t know what the big rush was .

Four of us visited Basta to celebrate our birthdays. We weren’t just treated with courtesy, we were treated like family! From the initial greeting through the payment of our bill, we wanted for nothing. Giselle took great care of us, making certain that we were well attended. And as always, our dinners were excellent. We even received a surprise birthday treat! I can’t recommend Basta strongly enough!

This is the most over priced, mediocre Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. I went there for a special occasion and it was ruined due to the food. I ordered Chicken Parmigiana. Arguably the most basic Italian dish you can get. The “pink vodka” sauce was suggested to me by the waitress. It was described as a “delicious dish”. Please see both pictures as references. I was served a tiny bowl of HARD penne pasta with a teaspoon of “pink vodka” sauce. Then I was brought a HUGE plate with 2 palm sized chicken cutlets. The “mozzarella” cheese was MOST DEFINITELY a slice of American crafts singles cheese. It was hard. It was not melted. It was shiny. The “pink vodka” sauce was as yellow as a school bus. It tasted EXACTLY like liquid crafts Mac & cheese sauce. It was disgusting. I am a 6ft, 220 lbs man with a big appetite and I couldn’t finish even half of this dish. I wouldn’t eat this again if it was free. The service was decent. We were handed SPILLED/DRIPPING glasses of TAP water. Overall, terrible experience. Would never go again and I wish I could get ever penny back.

Outstanding restaurant! Was our first time there - we will definitely be back! LOVED the variety on the menu. WE both loved our dishes (Swordfish Francais and Veal Parm - bone in). Cocktails were delish also! Tiramisu is fabulous. Service was amazing - we had a new server and she was Fabulous (wish i could remember her name)!

Had dinner here on our wedding anniversary. They made the experience very special to say the least. Waitress was fabulous, service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning!

I don’t normally post a bad review, but I have such a sour taste after our experience at Basta, which is supposed to be a fine dining experience. The waitress wasn’t attentive at all, the food server basically dropped the food on our table and never asked if we needed salt, pepper or cheese. We had to wave someone down for it. When we mentioned this to our waitress, Taylor, she laughed it off. No apology. Then we asked for refills on our beverages. One of us had ginger ale and one of us had a soda water with limes. She took our used glasses and put the wrong beverage in the the wrong glass. The ginger ale came back with my limes in it.

Taylor was our server and she was excellent. She overheard us saying Happy Anniversary and proceeded to make sure our dining experience exceeded our expectations. The food was amazing. Thank you!
