Each season, the owner and chef, Tom McGue, works to change the menu to provide guests with interesting and unique flavors. The eatery offers a comfortable atmosphere with three types of dining experiences available including fine dining, casual dining and private dining. Basil also offers takeout.

Basil also offers daily specials that reflect the market's best offerings, while supplementing their already expansive menu. Although the food is usually wonderful. the Roast Duck this evening was very dried out - either overcooked or sitting around too long. Everything else - House Salad, au Gratin Potatoes, Grilled Swordfish, Sautéed Spinach - was excellent.

We love Basil. Kelly makes us feel at home and is the absolute best. Christine makes fantastic cocktails. Out favorite place to spend Friday night.

Butternut squash ravioli tasted heavenly! Wonderful grilled scallops, tasty rice pilaf. Husband got lasagne to die for. Always delicious, fresh food. Huge menu. Fast, courteous service. Very reasonably priced. Easy to get to get to, free parking. Well-marked sidewalk, crosswalk and stairs For safety.

If you're at Basil for great food and service yet have little interest in talking to each other? It's great. I had a headache when I left there, last night. The noise was off the scales. Maybe, we will not go on a Saturday evening, again.
