Food was on point. Sushi very fresh with crunchy part crunchy not mushy from sitting too long. Shrimp in dishes cooked perfectly. Beef and chicken also perfectly tender and seasoned. Our server had the right mix of attentiveness. Always a good experience.

My wife and I love going to Basil Asian Bistro in Wooster. The service is very good and the food is even better. My favorite dish is the Green Mango Grouper.

Great place and great food ! I was a little disappointed with our waitress. We were out with another couple and she seemed annoyed at everything. This was a special treat so I expected a better experience. I will be fair and say that everyone has a bad day. I was also very shocked that we were charged for ice for my husband’s whiskey. In general the food was delicious and we will try it again. Hopefully, it’ll be a better experience.

Stuck in a corner and because tables were packed so tightly, we and our server had to squeeze through other people eating their dinners. Poor layout. Also, don’t charge me more for using a credit card.

Had a birthday reservation for 2. When we arrived table wasn't ready(set for 4) in front of the noisy open kitchen. Ask to sit somewhere else. Only table left was high top in bar. Happy Family was ordered with chicken, shrimp & scallop. Taste was OK but there were only 2 slices of scallops about the size quarter. The scallops were not whole. When we were done I told the waitress that I thought there would be more than 2 slices of scallops. She left to talk to the manager. I was informed that because I didn't complain during the meal there was nothing that could be done. As we prepared to leave a loud voice behind us was stating that the Happy Family has more than meat than scallops and I couldn't get it with just scallops. I informed the bartender that I didn't asked for all scallops only that there should be more than 2 slices. The manager of 3 days told me not to yell at his bartender, I told him to back off, he told me to back off. The manager informed me nothing was going to be done about the lack of scallops. NOTHING What a joke! He continued that the menu stated scallops and I got 2 pieces. He also said scallops are expensive so only a couple slices were used. A professional kitchen/chef knows the beauty of the scallop is if cooked correctly is the tender center. What was to be a birthday dinner turned into a disappointed. Thank goodness Wooster has better restaurants. Maybe they don't slice their scallops.
