    For $300, for two of us, it most definitely was not worth it. $20 cocktail was horrific. Steaks were “eh”, could have had the same at Longhorn. Milk bread (which we’ve had before) had a funky flavor. And our waitress (Tee) was annoying. My husband moved his silverware to the side and she decided to come over and place them where she wanted. Not once, but twice! Once before the meal and then during the appetizer. For the price, it was absolutely not worth it. There are plenty of other nice restaurants with great food (and service!) for a fraction of the cost.

    I had wedge salad [excellent] and the pork chop - very good but more than I could eat.

    our party was very impressed with the quality of food ... perfectly prepared. It ain't cheap but we felt we got what we payed for. Service was impeccable

    We ate here on New Year’s Eve off of their special NYE menu, that was predetermined. The food was delicious. There’s nothing like this in the greater St. George area. Everything was top notch. We especially loved the Butter Potatoes. Hopefully those are on the regular menu. We are definitely looking forward to going back and ordering off of the regular menu.

    We had an amazing dinner on NYE, which was a set menu. It was absolutely delicious and the service was excellent.

    Basalt is a Steakhouse and wow do they live up to that! The Tomahawk steak, and the other cuts we ordered, were cooked perfectly, melt in your mouth goodness. They will serve on a share plate upon request. The sides were great as well, ordered family style also. It is pricey, but if you enjoy higher end cuisine - you won’t be disappointed!

    They are brand new so some kinks are being worked out, like servers knowing which tables to deliver food to. Our waiter, Ruben, was outstanding. The food was very good with an excellent presentation, but also overly expensive. The pork chop was very large but a bit underdone. The most irritating overcharge though was the $15 self-park or $25 valet charge.

    Lovely new restaurant! It is quite spendy, but worth it to get that type of food / service in Ivins! Service was amazing. Very classy.

    We came for Christmas dinner and ordered the prix fixe course meal. It’s very nice and quiet - there were only a few other tables occupied that night. It’s a little hard to find as it’s in a resort under constructions with dim lighting and no signs indicating where restaurant is located. We decided on the prix fixe meal, and after ordering found out many of the items on that menu they had run out of. In the middle of being served we had to make alternate selections off the regular menu - yet we were still charged the special menu prices. We could have just ordered off the regular menu to begin with and saved the disappointment, mid meal interruptions, and hefty price tag for items we didn’t particularly want. After the third item they had run out of, all we could do was laugh. We didn’t get a visit or apology from a manager which I would expect from a newly opened high end steakhouse. I felt bad for our server who had to keep delivering bad news throughout the meal, but I appreciate her professionalism and doing her best - she was lovely. I do regret choosing this restaurant for a special occasion and wouldn’t recommend for that in particular, however to be fair they are new and have a lot of kinks to work out so I can see its potential. I will say the staff was incredibly friendly and were really great - I appreciated all their efforts. Most of the food we ordered was really flavorful, but filet was just ok. The sea bass however was excellent- cooked perfectly with crisp outside and moist inside. We also enjoyed some of the sides like the potatoes. The dessert they came back twice on as each item we ordered kept running out. I’d definitely skip - they were just ok and not worth the calorie’s except perhaps the cream brûlée.

    A beautiful evening ! The views are incredible, and furnishings are high quailty. The servers were professional, and friendly. Great ambiance. A wonderful addition to the fine dining category in St George
